Maybe he BSed her "no darling, thats only at the official public appearances, the rest of the time we can do what we like and live the life of riley, honest!"
I think all this holding hands, stroking backs, in other words touchy feely bit is an Americanism! The Blair's used to do it, equally the Cameron's, poor Samantha used to look a bit awkward at times !! Sort of Tammy Wynette with her man!! Not very British in public and frankly a bit yuk making! But each to his own if it pleases! After all there's no harm in it just faint embarrassment!!
No public figure goes to Wimbledon "in a private capacity" FFS!!
Thats not a "private" thing to do It's a place where celebs go to be seen and photographed! Its as much about who's wearing what and who is sitting with who as it is about the sport!
If she is learning the ropes and this is what she is learning, then she is taking her lessons from the wrong people!
Maybe she is loved up and letting H convince her to ignore other advisors? After all he got away with ignoring protocol and decorum in his "lovable rogue" phase But its a mistake wherever she is getting it from!
No Annie, just sad old woman & one man being plain old spiteful . If only we could do a mock up garden fence on here so some of you could rest your folded arms & raise your eyebrows, Les Dawson style ??
Kate and Sophie didn't declare they wanted hit the ground running and be major players on a global stage at the start of their royal lives. They said they would rather learn the ropes.
Can't comment on Fergie. She was a law unto herself.
I wonder how people can have so much dislike for someone they have never met. Are you not just feeding off what has been printed in newspapers without having access to actual facts? Carrying such dislike for anyone is surely detrimental to those carrying it.
I don't know if she is the devil incarnate or a saintly angel (my guess is like everyone else she is somewhere in between) and quite frankly I don't care.
