Who do you look like?

When Mary McAleese was standing for election as President in Ireland many years ago, the DDs and I were visiting Paw who was working in Dublin at the time, and there were big election posters everywhere. Youngest D asked me why they had my picture in shop windows etc looking like a “Wanted “ poster!

I have been likened to both Julie Walters and Andrea Turner. In the past!

Actually, make that twice, by 2 different people, more than 5 years apart!

I was once told I had the eyes and bone structure of Bette Davies!

I would love to look like Brenda Blethyn, she is beautiful when not playing Vera and I think she has looked better in the last couple of series.
I look like all the other grans of my age.

I don't seem to resemble anyone else. though I do sometimes catch glimpses of my late mother in mirrors and shop windows.

However, according to my DGC at least half the female celebrities, young and old look 'just like you, Granny'

Our former neighbour (now deceased) looked like the BFG!

Bits of me look like my mum (e.g. feet) and bits like my dad (face, but sometimes that resembles my mum). When I look in the mirror I'm reminded of my cousin. Obviously a family resemblance

People used to say I looked like Audrey Hepburn or Ali McGraw!!! Take your pick! Now I look like them only just a bit older!!!
