Morning all.

It's very grey in Kent which I wasn't expecting. I did a load of washing last night and was planning on putting it out this morning.
DH and DD have the day off so when he returns from his walk he will cook us all breakfast. Then a bit of housework for me.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning to each and Everyone x
I've been awake for over an hour thinking it was later than it was because of the sun streaming through the bedroom.
Yes----we have sun and the making of a grand day, though cool out at the moment.

My stomach's rumbling with hunger and sounding like a drain, goodness me. I'll have to forego my usual crumpets and have a fresh egg and some toast. Or both !

D is making her way to Liverpool airport shortly to pick up our friend from Holland who'll be staying at D's until Wednesday. She's an ex-girlfriend of my GS from 6/7 years ago but has remained a firm friend of the family with a number of exchange visits over these years. The woman is Dutch with an American accent having been brought up by an American nanny while parents worked.
Looking forward to seeing her-----she calls me nan.

There was a house fire in the next road to me yesterday morning along with a gas explosion. All the emergency services were there of course. The elderly occupant was burning rubbish in the back and often left her gas taps on, so she was taken to a residential home, uninjured but certainly a safety issue living on her own. Inside the house is smoke ruined so she won't be going back there.
Nothing worse than fire.

Right, breakfast now before I starve to death so have a good day everyone.

Good morning from the NE coast where we have a bright and (dare I say?) sunny start to the day. We are off to a good start this morning with satisfied customers in the breakfast cafe, uniforms all ready and layed out etc. It’s all looking good unless DGD1 decides she needs to straighten her hair, in which case.......we’ll be running around like headless chickens at 8.15 !

After the school runs it’s off to “that place” to spend another day of torture. I’m so glad it’s Thursday.

Have a good day everyone x

Good morning everyone from a gloriously sunny South Manchester. Summer has arrived!

We are off to 6y old grandson’s sports day this morning. Probably a good idea it’s being held in a morning- before it gets too hot!

Hope Thursday is good to us all whether we have plans or none. x

Good Morning everyone.
A more cheerful start to the day than of late. Dry and I can see some blue.
A craft day for me then putting the bins out for tomorrow.

Wishing you all a pleasant day and enjoy what you do ?

Morning mick, morning ginny.

Its still greyish in North Leicestershire but the theory is that it should improve.

Off to the start of the next Carer's course this morning. Much better than the last one which was in the evening.

Sainsbury's this afternoon.

Enjoy your trip ^mick* and your painting class, ginny.

Good morning Mick. Doesn't it make a difference to waken up to the sunshine and blue sky? Enjoy your trip to town.

I've already done a major kitchen clean after a marathon cooking and baking evening. Loving having my DD and DGS here despite all the extra work, we're just having fun and it's such a change from my normal solitary existence!

GS and I are off to my usual painting group this morning and I'm hoping a fellow painter is going to teach him how he works as he's so talented.

Hope everyone has a lovely day. If you're feeling unwell, take care of yourself and get better soon. flowers

Good Morning Everyone,
Its a blue sky this morning with clouds clearing, supposed to be a warm day as well.
My usual trip out to Buckingham and Bicester , mainly for a change of scenery but I often bump into former work colleagues.
