oooooooo I love that programme , but never tried for tickets

My mother used to say that even if you hate it you will have something new to talk about I hope you have fun!

Nor me Aggie until I saw a clip at the end of the programme for contestants which I wouldn’t want to be actually. Anyway I went on the website and applied for audience tickets about 3 months ago and here we are - Serendipity!

Although it would be exciting to see it filmed. My sister went to be in the audience of Deal or No Deal and loved it.

I love Countdown and play along with the contestants but I haven't the courage to apply.

Ha ha, I read the thread title and thought why is there a thread about a supermarket chain?

Countdown, a division of Woolworths and known as the Australian branch of that conglomerate, 'invaded' New Zealand a few years ago and built their supermarkets as near as possible to the existing, NZ owned chain.

They are very much more expensive, so I cannot understand why anyone who has the choice, goes there - but they do.

Elliott, the young current number one seed, is doing really well in the semi-finals this week. We are hoping he wins the series.

Elliott is fantastic. Cajeput ( never heard of it) and getting that difficult conundrum so quickly today Politburo.

I love it! My family think I'm crazy but so what? My mental arithmetic is so much better than it was in my teens. Rachel Riley is amazing and I hope she keeps going. I'm full of admiration for young Eliot and hope he will emerge as winner on Friday.
