Good morning, overcast but at least it is dry here in the NE.
Yesterday was a day where nothing got done, felt really under the weather and spent the day sleeping on and off.

Good morning from a very hot Italy. I won't be surprised if we end up with a storm. Off to walk the dogs shortly before it gets too hot then our usual Saturday breakfast at a local bar. They do fabulous cappuccino! I think that later we have 2 more chickens to deal with, preparing for the freezer. Maybe later we can finish cleaning the pool. I can't wait to go in it! Enjoy your day everyone whatever you may have planned.

Good morning everyone. Beautifully hot and sunny here in Croatia for the last day of my holiday. Looks like the weather is improving at home for my return!
Lazy morning today then off to Cavtat by water taxi later for ice cream and dinner!
Hope you all have a good day.

Morning all.
Very overcast in Kent and not a leaf moving. Quiet eerie.
DH may go to a local rugby match today, a bunch of veterans playing a memorial match. He wanted to play but with a dodgy knee, I said no.
I don't know what I'm doing.
Enjoy your curry Mick, have a good day all.

Good morning Mick and his followers!
Well what a change! Blue skies and cloudless in Leicester at the moment, which will certainly get the grass growing!
We are meeting DD and SiL at the motorway services, to take charge of their dog for 2 weeks while they are on holiday. No more long lie-ins!
Hope you all have a good day.

Good morning from a bright and sunny Birmingham. My grandson stayed here last night and was awake at six singing nursery rhymes, so we are both having our morning beverages. It’s lovely to see his little face first thing in the morning.
He will be here until lunchtime, then I have Tai Chi and an afternoon cleaning little fingermarks off furniture and windows, and catching up with Italian homework.
I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning, everyone. Bright and sunny in Northampton this morning. Hope it stays like it.

Had a good day in Milton Keynes yesterday, and managed to get what I wanted. And the rain held off!

Your curry sounds good Mick. I had the second part of a pork curry last night, which I had cooked last week and put in the freezer. Not cooking today as going out for a meal with DS and family, and then afterwards to eldest DGD's stage school annual show. It is usually very good.

My cats are off to the cattery this morning which will give me a couple of days to pack for my cruise without one or both of them trying to climb in the suitcases and get white fur over everything!

Hope everyone's day goes well.

Hi, Saturday night here. 12Michael did you know that you can make a subtle but delicious stock from prawn shells?

It's winter here and been a variable day with sunny spells, a bit of rain and overcast skies. I have just luxuriated all day with the heat pump on and a pile of library books. I shall probably make an effort to be a grown-up tomorrow.

Good morning all. ?and blue skies here in N Bucks!
Your prawn curry sounds heavenly Mick and with this surprising improvement in the weather I hope the Flea Market is buzzing! (Groan)
I am aching all over from yesterday’s Art Trail in Walthamstow, we must have walked miles and there is something especially tiring about slow walking. In the end SIL, DGS, and SIL’s parents came too and afterwards I popped round to DD3 and little Otis for a cuddle and supper. Home at 10.30 - shattered!
Today I am going to a new play at the Royal in Northampton, called “The Pope” starring Anton Lessor and Nicholas Woodeson. It has had 4 and 5* reviews so I am quite excited.
Wishing you all a pleasant day and some ?????

Morning Mick. I could swear I saw the sun earlier! It does look brighter and the sky is higher than the rooftops this morning.

Cooking for my sister and husband later courtesy of M&S. Well, will peel the veg myself. A well-established dress shop is closing down and we hope to get some bargains. Sad to see it go though and I hope they don't open yet another bar there. There are 3 specialist beer places in one small square.

Enjoy your day Mick and everyone.

Good morning, Mick. I like the sound of your prawn curry and I admire you for making yourself a nice meal. Since I’ve been on my own, I just can’t be bothered to cook for myself.

Well, the weather in Malta is hot but overcast. I won’t be surprised if we get a shower or two.

Might go out with DD3 who has just returned from her honeymoon in Spain. Can’t believe a week has passed already since the wedding. Tempus certainly does fugit!

Hoping all gransnetters have as good a day as possible.sunshine

Good Morning Everyone,
Its bright and sunny but cloudy here in Brackley this morning,
Considering the appalling weather over the last few days.
It makes my day more enjoyable , going into Bicester and Buckingham.
And more chance of seeing the flea market in full swing when I return from Bicester .
When I return mid afternoon, start to prepare tomorrows lunch which will see me into Monday as well.
I am doing a king prawn curry in the slow cooker but have opted to use a fish stock , which I think will add to the flavour.
