Good Morning Monday

Greetings from Hamburg. Lovely gentle sunny cloudy quiet day ( national holiday) . Will go to stadtpark for a coffee, or explore one of the leafy beautiful canals. Hamburg has more canals than Venice, SO many trees, and so many English people. Lol.

Good afternoon all, no I haven't just got up, I've been up since 8 but didn't put laptop on as I had to go out. Weather started cold & windy, heavy rain shower & when I got home I could hear thunder. Maybe I'll get out in the garden later. Forecast for Devon isn't good this week so it'll be housework & clearing out drawers/wardrobe

Good morning everyone.It is a sunny morning here in Glasgow. Makes a change. Sitting in the conservatory enjoying the warmth. H is over doing some weeding in the plot. Have a washing on and will put it out later.Dancing down in Troon tonight. Should be good.

Bit late but good morning Mick and all from a very wet and rainy part of Colchester. Took over half an hour to do a 15 min journey to the wholesalers this morning due to rain the traffic on the A12 at a standstill both ways... Anyway back home in the dry and getting ready to go to gym. Have a hopefully dry day to all.

A very late good morning to you all, I was up and about with all good intentions, then I discovered it was quite chilly outside of the blankets. Not to worry, plenty of time to do what I planned, and we have the promise of rain at times so the garden will not be getting any attention today, I have leftovers from yesterday's lunch, so off we go on a whirlwind (?) clean up. Sorting out the last of my husband's bowling clothing and woods to give to our local blind bowlers. Such a lovely group of people, always so cheerful (and competitive). Enjoy your days.

Belated buongiorno from a very hot Cassino. 35c on back porch. Summer has been late arriving this year but it's now here with a vengeance! H is disposing of 2 chickens today so I have the unenviable task of helping prepare them for the freezer!

Good morning from east London and it’s been tanking it down since I woke up. Mixed tennis match tonight in doubt although we never know til the last minute so if the call suddenly comes, I’ll buy the bits for tea rather than make stuff. Take things easy today, Sprout.

Morning Mick and all. It's late today. Yesterday I tripped over the step from the conservatory to the dining room with a cup of tea in my hand. Of course it and me hit the floor and I couldn't get up it was luck my daughter was there. The carpet is light grey and doesn't like black tea on it. Anyway woke up with painful shoulder etc but ok. Awful weather pouring of ran and chilly the fab English weather eh. Have a good day everyone.

Morning all from an overcast South Notts - I think rain is forecast. Got up early and have changed the bedclothes, prepared breakfast and lunch - now there's the dreaded ironing to tackle.

Looking ominous over Leicestershire. It rained stair rods yesterday evening - our patio was under water. My peonies don’t like it.

Got an exciting week this week starting with an MRI scan today!

Hi everyone from a grey-skied and rainy Godalming ?
I got soaked on my morning run but heck, it's only water and a hot shower and coffee soon put a smile on my face.
Waitrose for strawbs, blueberries, granola, yogurt and honey plus Dutchy organic seeded bread shortly.
Friend's birthday meal yesterday was superb but I bet OH and I were the only ones without headaches today as we don't drink.
I must ask Mick why he goes to the same 2 places virtually every day...?
Anyway, I hope everyone who has plans manages to get out n about and those who have none enjoy the comforts of home...in the warm. ??

I was wide awake at five, read my book as I couldn't get back to sleep, then fell back asleep with my face in my book!

My son and DIL are back from holiday today, I have decided to go out on my own and stock up their fridge. DH will not be amused, but he is playing golf, so he won't know! I need to get my independence back.

I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon to monitor my new medication. .

A lovely start to the day so hoping it stays that way though the forecast doesn't think so.
Mainly cleaning and polishing today and must email script to the surgery which is collected by local pharmacy then delivered in a day or two.

Finishing M&S list of nibbles etc and jotting down what I suddenly remember.
Will be tracking my D's flight later when it leaves Sydney at 6am their time. They're 9 hours ahead. I'm a geek at heart

A friend will be dropping in today so a good chinwag is in order------I love it.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Dry in South Yorkshire this morning, but looking at the forecast we will all have webbed feet by the end of the week! I think DS may change his mind about coming to stay. Some shopping this morning, and then school run this afternoon.

Morning Michael, Annie to come, and all. It's dry here at the moment, but you can bet your bottom dollar, that as soon as we put our foot outside, the rain will arrive!
DH has an eye appointment at the hospital after lunch. We will go on the bus and have lunch first,(save me cooking later).
It's going to be a busy few days, then we go away on Thursday, for a short break, but I think the bad weather is set to follow us.
BlueSapphire, when you have your coffee, make it a strong one, to fuel your letter to British Gas!

Good morning everyone from a sunny Malaga where the little green parakeets are screeching in the palm trees. It’s Monday which means the local wine bar this afternoon with my ladies - there will be six of us today. Yay!

Good morning from sunny Northumberland.

My daughter is coming home after three months travelling lunchtime, so it's a dog walk on the beach then waiting for her taxi to arrive ... my son being a taxi driver, he's going to get a good tip! Fajitas and choc cake ready.

Garden helper coming at 3.30 pm, hopefully to help me tackle my extremely weedy gravel areas.

Morning Mick, morning All from a bright corner of Somerset. More torrential rain forecast this afternoon and Tuesday. Hope the forecast is wrong as people are still dealing with Friday’s local flooding. Chores for us today, trying to do all the little (tedious!) stuff that often escapes the radar. Hope Monday is kind to everyone.

Came home very late last night from my niece's wedding. It was overwhelming (her words) with so much love and emotion.
