I posted on the original thread this morning. Elvive had wondered where she was.

I said that on a thread I had genuinely asked if she was alright as (a) her language was pretty ripe and (b) she was furious when another poster (can’t remember who) had responded to her snippy post saying “I feel sorrry for your grandchildren”.

I know she is erudite and opinionated and has in the past stuck up for herself quite heatedly but on the occasion in question, I was concerned about her as her response to someone had seemed (to me at least) way over the top.

Anyway I hope all is well and she is okay.

I suppose it’s nice to be missed after a day or two of not posting.

Like you MOnica I’m sure I could disappear without my absence being noted.

As I said on the original thread this morning, she may just be on holiday or taking a break. Why not?

Possibly they were just glad to have the space without me.

I don't post often so people wouldn't miss me. But if I did, I really don't think I would want people starting threads about me and guessing what I was doing and why I wasn't doing it etc.

I understand it is well meant and may be done out of concern but it does feel a little intrusive to me.
