Daddima yes, that’s true, but actually it might be better if we were not to speculate about the looks of GN posters as it could lead to some unpleasant comments.
Better to keep things light and amusing.

I try not to picture people ,I had an awful let down years ago.We had a client who I dealt with by phone an donly the drivers ever saw him.He had the most amazing voice ,so when he said he would pick his prints up all the women in the studio were keen to see if his looks were even half as good as his voice .Sadly the man who sounded like a cross between"Anton Meyer" in Holby and Sean Connery turned out to be a wee fat baldy guy with acne ...lol.What a letdown

Didn’t the original poster ask if we pictured other posters? Most of the replies are describing themselves, rather than others.

What an interesting thread and peoples descriptions of themselves are often way off how I pictured them!

This thread is hilarious in parts, a most amusing read. Some members seem to aspire to 'a modest and retiring personality' as being the ideal. This is their choice but they must bear in mind some of us also aspire to have a 'confident and opinionated' one. I know which I find the most interesting people. I have worked all my life to achieve a high level of confidence which sadly to say still eludes me and lack of confidence has led me down many a wrong path leading to disasterous life choices. If only........ So yes I admire people with Chutzpah and to say outright they do not like women who are catty and gossip and for the said type of people to then come out and be catty and gossip and prove her point is downright hilarious GN refects real life, a mixed bag of people And for GabriellaG54 to state she is not very good looking and blow the theory out of the water that it is only the 'Beautiful' people who are entitled to wear the 'Self Confident' badge just adds to her strength. To me the most useful qualities to get on in life are kindness, determination and self confidence. If you have those you can do ANYTHING.

I am, of course, tall slim and devastatingly attractive! When I go out I have to hide in shops or I am beating them off with sticks (oh sorry - that's the debt collectors!)

I have developed a very clever disguise as a short, overweight 70 year old woman

Well done GrowingOld - keep going as long as you can. 62 is young by my standards.
My photo on the old thread was of me driving a tractor. I was never confident doing that because husband managed to tip it over once when he was driving it. The land was on a steep slope.
I used to dye my hair auburn in those days -I've stopped that now, its a mix of grey and white.

Here's me - draw your own conclusions! 62 and growing old disgracefully.... still not out of the teenage rebellion stage.....
5' 2", long white hair (previously blonde in the Jurassic era).
