A long time ago when we had no water for a few days I used to put some water filled containers in the greenhouse to warm up throughout the day.

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Much cooler today.

I hope Mick and BlueSapphire get your hot water back soon. You just have to pretend you're camping.

Yoga this morning and preparing for a very busy weekend.

We employed a gardener yesterday to tackle some big stuff. He made a start!

Good morning from a rather grey Birmingham. I have my grandson today, so we will have fun in the park trying to find the biggest stick he can lift. The park was looking lovely yesterday, with a fine show of rhododendrons. My granddaughter had her first ice cream yesterday: “delicious” she said.
This evening I am going to have a curry with people from my Tai Chi class.
Best wishes to * Marydoll* and others under the weather, and I hope you get hot water today Mick. Bluesapphire flowers

Morning Mick, morning All from an overcast corner of Somerset. Mr C has an early hospital appointment, about an hour away, busy city, no car park, too complicated for buses. Wish us luck! Hope the water is fixed easily mick and Friday is kind to everyone.

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester with rain to come.
Bits and bobs in town today.

BlueSapphire Fri 17-May-19 07:06:54

Good morning everyone. Dull and grey here in Northampton today

I can sympathise, Mick, I have no not water either. Waiting for British Gas to install a new hot water tank as mine sprang a massive leak on Monday. Went up to DS's yesterday for a shower.

Well, tried a ballet class yesterday, my goodness, the steps are complicated! The teacher seemed to go at an enormous rate, and the movements seemed alien to anything I've done before. But I shall carry on and see how it goes.

Was late DH's birthday yesterday, I was ok, raised a glass of fizz to him, and wished him happy birthday.

Sainsbury's this morning and school run this afternoon and DGDs here for tea.

Hope everyone's day goes well.

Morning all, (especially Nellie!)

North Leicestershire is not so bright this morning.

DD3 and Wolfie are calling in this morning and then I'm having my feet done.

Enjoy your days everyone and I hope your water is soon sorted Mick.

Cold shower? Ugh! Not a nice awakening Mick. Hope it gets fixed soon.

It's a grey day here in Cheshire. A bit of a disappointment after the last few days being so sunny and warm. Meeting my sister in Knutsford for my birthday lunch and to chose a pressie. So yes, a lovely day in spite of the gloom atm.

Hope you're feeling better Marydoll and anyone else feeling poorly or down. xx

I am back on here in a different name.
I was Nelliemoser.

Good morning All
Grey skies in Cheshire after the sunshine.

Good morning Mick and everyone.

No hot water is a flipping pain Mick, I hope it's sorted soon.
Dull start here in Kent with showers forecast. It stayed gloriously sunny yesterday but I think they will be right today.
Food shop and coffee out with DH this morning. Nothing else planned.
Hope you feel better today Marydoll

Have a good day all.

Good Morning all.
It’s dry but looking quite dreary outside this morning.
I hope you get your water problem sorted soon Mick.
I’m off out to do my shopping early today as I am dog sitting this weekend.
Enjoy your day everyone ?

Good Morning Everyone,
Its light but its a grey start here in Brackley this morning.
Up early as usual , went to do usual toilet things etc, and no hot water for washing or shower.
It was off yesterday, but no hot water as yet.
Hopefully when the local manager comes later she will get complaints.
otherwise, its shop, bank, maybe gets some fish and chips later , then watch the cycling on TV.
Mick
