Phew, soop, I’m so pleased you spoke with the nurse. I’m sure you’ve made the right decision to reinstate the other treatment, anything that makes you more comfortable has to be good.

Been thinking of charley and Tara. It’s a few years since we had an animal as part of the family but I still recall the fear when they were unwell, particularly when they got older.

Incredibly weary today, we both overdid it yesterday (even supervising is tiring). Too much driving and running around fetching things for me and too much garden labouring for Mr C. We’ve done a little cleaning and now plan a coffee out with restorative cake before some errands.

I have discussed the reactions I'm experiencing with Letrozole with my breast care nurse. My first chat with her since the mastectomy. Yes...the meds can cause several nasty side effects. I'm to stop the treatment for two weeks. She will check with me to see whether there is an improvement. I may then restart the meds or return to the oncologist who will decide the next course of action.
I have also decided to ask for the treatment put on hold for the front and rear prolpase to be reinstated.

Talking about dental treatment in the "olden days"...way back in the early 1940s, Mr Phillips, the dentist with a stammer, used a foot operated drill. Also, do you remember having an awful rubber mask slapped over your face when gas was administered?
On one occasion I was wearing a kilt. He asked if the waistband was tight. I said no but unbuckled it (to be on the safe side). On getting out of the chair after several extractions for overcrowded teeth, the skirt fell to the floor. I was mortified.

It is damp, dull and miserable here but not cold.
My walking neighbour is away for a few days but my intention to try to do it on my own was thwarted by the weather.
I am supposed to be going to Dunelm this afternoon but that plan is also in limbo as my friend is waiting for a phone call to see if she can pick a relative up from hospital, it was doubtful yesterday but plans may be changed, so I am playing a waiting game.

Tara was happyish to be examined with me being there and that included her temperature being taken via her rectum. I hope a mass is not found on her liver.

With luck I will receive a phone call early pm for pick up.

NannyT , hopefully the eye will just continue to improve but its such a problem , its not like a bump or bruise elsewhere is it? I think you're right about the dental treatment in the 70's - I really loathe that I am so fearful of something .

Morning all I’m running late, aka still in bed so mustn’t linger, but just wanted to say I’m thinking of you today Charleygirl.

Nanytopsy I agree and we were attacked in those days I think with a hammer and chisel.

I do not know what the hygienist did to me yesterday but my teeth and gums were aching last night and they are not a great deal better today.

Not my best night's sleep with Tara sleeping on my pillow and pawing me frequently I think to remind me I had not fed her.

I will take her to the vet and then return home to have breakfast.

Luckily I have a car which bends- people are so inconsiderate with parking.

The hotel we are staying in has been renovated and there are still bits to be finished. It is midnight and someone is doing some pretty heavy duty drilling! That will get the TripAdvisor whingers going!
N&G thanks for asking - eye much better but still uncomfortable.
I wonder if we dislike dentist because of their attitude when we were young? No anaesthetic for fillings and I had a root canal without any anaesthetic in the 70s. That has taken years to get over.
