Pleased to read tara is home.

Topsy it must be a relief to know your garden will be well cared for.

We are taking GC to Hyde Hall (local RHS Gardens) today, he loves rolling down the hills and there is a woodland play park. The flowers should be in full bloom for us to appreciate.

Then we are off to our local Indian Restaurant this evening with some friends. If we get our predicted warm weather tomorrow it will be a BBQ and lazing in the garden.

Sunday is our GDs birthday party, lots of 2yr olds, should be fun and very noisy.

Hopefully I shall pop into the kitchen after the party and leave cake on the side.

Its lovely to be back home after a few days away and I quite enjoy being back in a routine of sorts. I will try to keep up but, in the meantime, TOYA.

We sold our house on Tuesday and had our offer accepted on Thursday, all from the roof terrace of our hotel! Did someone say moving was stressful? ??
However I have dreamt about packing every night!

Just been catching up as I've been under the weather for a couple of days. Nothing to the buggerations so many are experiencing but I had so many plans for this week as DGS and his parents were away for half-term so the time was totally my own. Woop woop! I am so pleased for you Charleygirl - sleep tight tonight!

A vet has just rung me and madam is too sleepy to be picked up but she is fine and nothing ghastly was seen on the liver scan. The fellow who reported it is going to have another look in case he missed something.

The nodule she had on her lip apparently burst the minute the vet inserted a needle so that appears to be okay. Tara, of course, will not let me go remotely near the inside of her lip so I will not be charting the progress. One relieved mother who will sleep well tonight.

I could not stop myself and rang the surgery. Apparently an emergency came in so she is in a queue, whatever that means. Apparently she is okay but anxious mum will be the decider of that when she sees her!

Thank you nannytopsy for the reminder of Zola Budd. Yes that was who I was thinking about re the runner. I managed to get her muddled up with Lena Zavaroni and all because galen mentioned zabaglione ?‍♀️ ?.
Everything crossed for Tara today. Hope she’s ok.

soop glad you managed to speak to someone. DH had to stop his chemo tablets for a while as his blood results went a bit wonky. Just re started them at a much lower dose so hopefully will keep the results more in line.
Will pop back later to see if there is any news on Tara. In the meantime TOYA

I am sitting here itching to ring the surgery. To keep my mind off everything I have been tearing up heaps of paper so at least some of the house will be tidier.

Everything in sight has been washed, I can do no more.
