Okay, I am all gardened out now, and after seeing Kitty’s photos, a very envious gardener!?. And my poor sparrows are very confused. The bird bath has, perforce, been in three different places over the last two weeks and the new fledglings, who are a bit dim at the moment, don’t know where to look for it next! They don’t seem to be able to tell roots from worms either! They spend ages getting them out of the ground before they tumble that they are nothing edible! But my clematis has flowered and is looking pretty good.

Been out for a long (slightly alcoholic) chatty lunch with some old girlfriends. Am on the point of nodding off (can’t cope with drinking in the afternoon) so just popping in to say lovely photos one and all and TOYA hic! 
soop quickly read your post as “gambling time” and thought there were even more secrets goings on in Kintyre than we had all realised!! I love foxgloves, they always bring to mind happy memories of my favourite aunts Aberdeen garden. Spent many summers there as a child. kitty, your garden looks beautiful too.
greyduster, glad the patio is pleasing. Is there a deal to be done along the lines of “I don’t need to have too many new pots, well that is if you don't need to be changing the car!” But of course you may be lacking in collateral following “tramgate’
Beautiful stained glass windows, corner , I love the traditional ones but always enjoy seeing the vibrant colours of the contemporary windows too. We saw a beautiful such window in a church in Wareham the other day. I didn’t manage a photo. That’s because I was too busy working out how to extricate myself from the clutches of very knowledgeable but rather over enthusiastic volunteer church guide!
We’ve had another sunny Dorset day, had a walk around a nature reserve and then on to visit a small bay we’d never previously explored. I was glad of a bit less walking today after clocking up 28,000+ steps yesterday!
We leave here tomorrow, visiting friends before wending our way north on Saturday. I hear that rain is on the way tomorrow, so I’m very glad we were able to take full advantage of the sunshine while we could. As always i can never resist leaving a photo or three and of course toya.
Kitty You have a beautiful garden. I love the variety of colours and shapes.
It has been a lovely day. Plenty of blue sky. A good deal warmer. Our garden looks a treat.
Tomorrow is care home visiting day/Tesco shop/coffee and 
in our favourite lounge in The Royal hotel in Campbeltown. Yes, is a Friday treat. Why not!

Grannygravy I am chuckling as I read your post. When I was a teenager, there was a dance at the local village hall. I borrowed my pal's dress (it fitted, more or less) but her ballerina shoes were one and a half sizes too large. I was asked to dance with Porkie on whom I had a tremendous crush. He trod on the toes from time to time but I had a hell of a job keeping the shoes from slipping off. I went home with very sore feet and badly scuffed ballerinas.
