Good Morning Everyone,
its a clear blue sky start here in Brackley this morning, hoping the wind chill of yesterday as also gone.
Get my lunch prepared later then watch the final stage of the Tour De Yorkshire.
Mick

Glad that you enjoyed the Bonnard exhibition at Tate Modern Maw broon. As an impressionist he is one of my favourites.
Have been with my husband to Spring in the Park this morning which had the feel of a village fete complete with donkey rides. A bit chilly here in Warminster but pleasant.
Hope that you all enjoy the bank holliday week end. Carole.

Have severe jet lag today after flying back from Hawaii yesterday ?? so keep falling asleep as soon as I sit down. I do not think I will accomplish much today ???

Good morning All x
Some heavy threatening cloud and it's nippy too, a miserable day but I won't be going anywhere.
I'm up and down like a fiddlers elbow here letting the cats out then back in again------they've got me for a mug ! Hahaha.
They'll be hovering in the kitchen later when they smell the lamb cooking.

Annie, so pleased that you've made the garden, a step in the right direction. Pity about the weather but I'm sure you won't be bothered by that !

Hope today is kind to everyone.

Good morning all from a slightly overcast Northampton.

Going to have a bacon butty and then think about cutting the grass this afternoon.

Brilliant rugby and a great atmosphere yesterday afternoon, five tries for Saints and we beat Worcester 38-10. Top four now, and we could be in the play-offs.

Nothing else planned, so I think I will be mainly gardening this weekend. Hope everyone's day goes well.

Best time of year for the garden, Annie! Birdsong and flowers. Enjoy!

Goodmorning Mick and all
I am not a morning person. I stir about 8.30, use the loo , get back into bed for my iPad ritual. Check gmail, GN, Daily Mail, Scrabble, then go to bathroom, shower and go down for bfast. So by the time I'm on the go it will be about 10 o clock. Have a good day all !

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

Going to go out into the garden again today.

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Blimmin freezing here. I wish I'd not stashed away my winter woollies in their moth proof bags now -- and the snow boots!
Went to the cinema last night and saw Tolkein. I really enjoyed it.
Busy today with about 12 for lunch....

Derby, not Dudley, so a bus and a train ride away.

DoraMarr Sun 05-May-19 08:20:18

Good morning from a rather overcast Birmingham. I had one of those white nights last night- Horlicks and a book at 2 a.m. I had two of my daughters and my son and my partner here for a meal yesterday , plus the two grandchildren. It was fun, but quite tiring, so I would have expected a good night’s sleep.
I fancy seeing the Leonardo exhibition in Dudley today, which is a couple of bus rides away.
Have a good day everyone!

Good morning from a cold, grey Colchester.
Yesterday's cold wind seems to have dropped but it's heating and jumpers on here.
DD and grandsons here for lunch and maybe to a riverside music and beer festival later.

harrigran Sun 05-May-19 08:18:47

Good morning from a cool overcast NE.
Had coffee and cake with sister and BIL and heard all about their two holidays they have had already this year.
Enjoy the weekend.

Good Morning from a cold Fife but it’s dry so that’s good. Slept like a log last night. Going to DD house today for belated afternoon birthday tea for DGS1 who was 3 on Wed. Hope everyone has a pleasant Sunday.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Dry here in South Yorkshire but really cold. A few days ago I was sitting on a sun drenched Hadrian’s Wall in shirtsleeves. No shirtsleeves today! We are going to watch GS play in a friendly match this morning then to my best friend’s 80th birthday party. Have a good day folks.

Good morning from east London, bright and chilly in east London. I’ve got a couple of cakes to make for the tennis match supper so will bash on with them now. Singing with the choir at the Stowathon this afternoon - it’s a 24 hour music event for charity - we have a short slot - then tennis match this evening. I’ll have to watch the last episode of ‘line of duty’ on catch up so it may be a late night. Have a good day.

Good morning from a chilly NE coast . Quite overcast here at 6am but seems to be brightening .

I have had youngest DGD overnight who has been up, playing and laughing since 5.30 ! She’s taking a nap now ( grandma wouldn’t mind joining her but best get showered instead) .

Have a good Sunday everyone x

Morning all from a bit of Leicestershire that is also very chilly (only about 3 miles from Dragonfly so it would be very odd if it was different)

Not much on here either but dh is coming home this evening.

We went to Cheltenham Jazz Festival together last year and the weather was fa ulous. Glad I opted out this year.

Good Morning from a sunny and breezy S Welsh coast, a good day for the washing.
The sea lashing the coast ( and nearly the cyclists) in Scarborough at the end of yesterday's stage of the Tour de Yorkshire, was pretty dramatic. Hope you enjoyed *Mick and Maw.

A quiet day ahead for us, with a fish and chip supper later, Have a good day all whatever your plans and many thanks for all yesterday's good wishes, much appreciated.

NanKate Sun 05-May-19 07:26:58

Morning Mick and All.

Enjoy the cycling Mick. I am into the clay court tennis season in places like Estoril, Barcelona and Madrid before the big one Roland Garros in France. Isn’t the coverage of sport so easy to access now ?

Cloud, sun and wind in South Bucks today.

Not sure of our plans today other than having duck in orange sauce 70s style for supper.

Nannytopsy Sun 05-May-19 07:08:48

Morning all! Green bins tomorrow ( even on a Bank Holiday!) so I need to do a bit of pruning to make sure it is full!
Sis iL and niece to lunch so food to cook too. Have a good day everyone

dragonfly46 Sun 05-May-19 07:03:09

Good morning from a cloudy and cold Leicestershire.

Not much on this morning so better do some housework!

NfkDumpling Sun 05-May-19 06:59:33

Morning All

The clouds are still scudding over high up but there’s only a gently breeze in our garden. Still only five degrees though after the storms of yesterday. Our gazebo which is sturdy enough to be left up all summer tried to climb the fence and move next door in one hail lashed squall!

Will need to go over and check our boat this morning.
