Good morning all, bright and sunny in Leicestershire.
It’s pretty chilly though I hope my sweet peas have survived.

Sainsbury shop and coffee ou this morning and if dry a walk this afternoon. Packing for our trip down south next week.

Morning Mick and everyone.

Looks quiet bright through the gap in the curtains. I'm still in bed at the moment.
DH going to Twickenham for A v N game. He goes every year with his ex team mates. So a quiet day for me.
Enjoy whatever you xo.

Good morning Mick and all. There is brilliant sunshine and blue skies in Cheshire. The trees in the woods are that lovely vibrant green of spring against the blue sky. I spotted the wren on the garden wall earlier and have been watching the squirrels to see if they are venturing too close to the nest beneath the balcony.

Going to my sister's for a couple of days, so it will be nice to have company and probably go shopping into Knutsford or Wilmslow.

Have a good day everyone.

Another early bird here! Unusual for me to be up so early but I slept like a log last night - a real treat.

Good morning everyone from a dry and bright South Manchester where I can see the Pennine ridge - always a good sign weather-wise.

I’m off over to Lytham for the weekend with my friend to stay at her daughter’s. One of my daughters is joining us there as she lives in Yorkshire. It promises to be fun. My friend’s daughter’s husband (keep up there at the back!) is an architect and apparently has done some amazing work on their house which is the main reason we are going - to have a look.

I hope Saturday is good to us all, whether we have plans or none. x

Morning All

It looks as if April is still hanging on here. Sunshine and blustery showers. And decidedly chilly. I hope things are a bit better in Buckinghamshire where DD1 and family are camping.

Morning Mick - been waiting here for you to open up!

Looks like we had some rain overnight here on the south coast and it is only 5 degrees at present according to my digital weather station.

We took out another overgrown shrub from the front garden yesterday but still have to tackle the stump. DH will try to dig it out but we may need to get some stump killer for it.

DH is out with his bike club today and I have a pottering day ahead, getting ready for our trip to Essex tomorrow to see DS and family.

Have a good day folks! sunshine

Good Morning Everyone,
Its looking a clear and dry start here in Brackley this morning.
Pop off on the buses to Buckingham and Bicester , then get back and watch the cycling.
I noticed yesterday on the race , there was a nice Ariel shot of Nidd Hall , where I have stayed a few times, plus with the world championships in Harrogate in September a chance to see likely spots to watch the racing.
