...for what it's worth, from an electrician who was working at Windsor Castle, that MM had her baby yesterday and it's a boy.
I pooh-poohed the news but he said that he overheard a footman being told by a woman in the room next to one where he was working.
He said Harry being at the Marathon must have been to put people off the scent as the couple said publicly that they would not make any announcement until several days after the birth.
It remains to be seen whether he's telling the truth...hmm

I work in a store on a USAF base. You would not believe what the front page of National Enquirer says about the royal family.... Americans actually believe what is written...

Nonnie Tue 30-Apr-19 16:59:11

That's the norm for Royal Announcements.

EllanVannin Tue 30-Apr-19 16:57:33

We'll probably just get a bulletin about the birth and that will be it.

Nonnie Tue 30-Apr-19 16:44:22

nipsmum Tue 30-Apr-19 16:24:27

Sorry I don't care enough to listen to gossip from an electrician.

notgoneyet Tue 30-Apr-19 16:20:21

I do love the humorous responses to this post. But why oh why do some people have to be so nasty, nit-picking, or simply so far up their own backsides when responding? I too love correct grammar, but does it REALLY make a difference in replies on a forum like this?

breeze Tue 30-Apr-19 16:16:34

I already do nonnie. Any winnings go in the gin fund shock

I did give one lottery win to Maggie's when my dear sister was raising funds for them. And do my monthly cancer research and dogs trust. But everything else in the gin fund grin

Anja Tue 30-Apr-19 16:13:28

Nonnie I remember that Chinese whisper!

mumofmadboys Tue 30-Apr-19 15:54:34

Well done Rufus! 3 apostrophes all in the correct places!!

Nonnie Tue 30-Apr-19 15:48:54

Do you do the lottery Breeze? Think you should and then, because I gave you such good advice, share your winnings. grin

breeze Tue 30-Apr-19 14:40:29

Hoping GG54's sparky is wrong as I have twenty quid on a girl called Alice. Although I think I still get paid out if it's a boy called Alice grin

And before I get jumped on, I put bets on Will and Kate's 3 times and got it right twice (Boy called George/girl called Charlotte) but gave my winnings to Cancer Research.

Although I may spend this payout on gin grin

Yes, I heard the surrogate baby idea - hence why she's not having it in hospital. Have also heard the Prince William having an affair rumour (lots of it to be found on the internet). Hope it's not true - Katherine looks so thin and haggered these days, but maybe that's just 3 children stopping her from sleeping properly!

Grammaretto Tue 30-Apr-19 14:21:48

Gagagran grin
Have the crowds begun to gather?
My DS's birthday on Saturday. It is a lovely time of year to have baby.

Rufus2 Tue 30-Apr-19 14:17:12

Well; it's obvious to me even from this distance that she's hanging on for May 1st. Labour Day!, and an inducement if necessary! It's all about party loyalty. wink

missdeke Tue 30-Apr-19 13:38:37

Witzend I was an elderly prima gravida at 24 according to my notes, hope I've spelled/spelt everything well enough to satisfy everyone.

Nonnie Tue 30-Apr-19 13:34:45

Anyone else remember "Send reinforcements, we're ready to advance" being sent back to HQ and arriving as "Send 3/4p we're going to a dance". I must be old!!

GillT57 Tue 30-Apr-19 13:30:13

well, the cynic in me wonders if the announcement is being held back until Friday, the day after the Conservative and Labour parties lose hundreds of seats in the local elections on Thursday. grin

pamdixon Tue 30-Apr-19 13:10:23
