...for what it's worth, from an electrician who was working at Windsor Castle, that MM had her baby yesterday and it's a boy.
I pooh-poohed the news but he said that he overheard a footman being told by a woman in the room next to one where he was working.
He said Harry being at the Marathon must have been to put people off the scent as the couple said publicly that they would not make any announcement until several days after the birth.
It remains to be seen whether he's telling the truth...hmm

oh and a little bit of sexism grin

I am now holding my breath that I forgot a closed bracket. Oh gawd. They're gonna get me shock

Hoping GG54's sparky is wrong as I have twenty quid on a girl called Alice. Although I think I still get paid out if it's a boy called Alice

My money's on a girl called Frances, breeze, so I might be able to claim for a boy if they misspell Francis...

I was wrong on all 3 of William's lot.

Good luck maggie ?

Maggiemaybe Wed 01-May-19 15:23:04

And you, breeze. You've certainly got the better track record!

lemongrove Wed 01-May-19 15:51:06

A Boy Named Sue? grin

lemongrove Wed 01-May-19 15:54:28

I think we may get a surprise with the new baby’s name, as it may not be a traditional one at all, perhaps something a little more USA......Carson?

Nonnie Wed 01-May-19 16:06:01

Fred, Ida, Ernest, Enid, Agnes, Arthur...........................

Anniebach Wed 01-May-19 16:09:46

Spencer ?

Callistemon Wed 01-May-19 16:16:04

Why aren't the Sussexes in Sussex?
Probably for the same reason that the Devonshires aren't in Devon and the Duke of Norfolk lives in Sussex ….. whatever that reason is grin

Callistemon Wed 01-May-19 16:17:08

My money's on a girl called Frances
Princess Frances is a bit of a mouthful though, unless they shorten it to Frannie

crazyH Wed 01-May-19 16:19:24

Thanks Alisa xx

Anniebach Wed 01-May-19 16:24:10

As Megan is suppose to be bringing the Windsors into the 21st century she will choose ‘Miss’ surely

Callistemon Wed 01-May-19 16:31:13

Will the names include Doria and Diana?

Oh, sorry, Gabriella said that it's a boy.

Dorian? Dion?

mcem Wed 01-May-19 16:53:15

Ok, I 'll come clean!
I know I told some of you that my new GS arrived on Easter Sunday but actually my DS and Dil are caring for the new Prince until Meghan decides it's convenient to have him delivered.

Anniebach Wed 01-May-19 17:01:09

In with Clooneys mcem ?

mcem Wed 01-May-19 17:02:05

Sorry annie not aware of Clooney gossip!

Maggiemaybe Wed 01-May-19 18:29:17

Princess Frances is a bit of a mouthful

I’m hoping it’ll just be Lady Frances, Callistemon. Someone on GN who seemed to know what she was talking about said on a previous thread that this baby wouldn’t be a Prince or Princess. I’m easily persuaded (and she may well have been wrong!).

phoenix Wed 01-May-19 19:01:52

When they got married, I thought quite kindly of Meghan, not so sure now..........hmm

kittylester Wed 01-May-19 19:02:46

So did I phienix and I'm very unsure too.

kittylester Wed 01-May-19 19:03:13

Sorry Phoenix

phoenix Wed 01-May-19 19:16:46

No problem with the spelling, kitty!

I know one shouldn't believe everything one reads, but............

Callistemon Wed 01-May-19 20:13:56

Oh, that's OK then, Lady Frances sounds acceptable Maggiemaybe grin

Jaxie Thu 02-May-19 09:27:33

Has it got ginger hair though? Only asking.

blondenana Thu 02-May-19 09:36:58

Chris Evans said on his radio programme he thinks Meghan has already had the beby, because of the Queen visiting Harry and Meghan, as it is very unusual for the Queen to visit anyone,
We shall see,i am saying a boy named Charles Henry Phillip
