Good Morning Everyone,
its bright but grey this morning, with signs of earlier rain.
But its cooler all together, usual day for me using buses to Buckingham and Bicester and back.
Enjoy my coffee places in those towns.
Mick

For Urmstongran I live on the south coast. Bognor Regis.
Within easy reach of the beautiful south downs and the sea is on our doorstep, (not quite, but you know what mean).
glorious Sussex.

Change of plan...Aberdeenshire is now bathed in sunshine and the mutt has had his usual, woodland romp. He's now toasting his undercarriage in the garden and I'm about to join him. Farewell Grammaretto from God's own county, safe journey home.

A very late good morning,

It's cloudy and breezy here, and keeps looking as if it's going to rain again.

Welcome, polnan. I think you'll find us all a friendly bunch here.

Nice to see you posting again, bigcol, and glad to find that you are finding ways to overcome your shyness.

Sorry to hear you've had a worrying night, Greyduster and hope things soon feel easier for you. ?

Right, I must motivate myself to get going, as I'm feeling somewhat lazy!!

To all feeling sad or poorly today, here's some ?. Take care.

I am a bit of a newbie as well. I only got into it because I originally had to do it as a lesson but now I found I can chat with the best of them. I think I'm still shy inside, but things like drama which I do a lot and going on sites like this has given me confidence. Drama especially. It can give you confidence without even you knowing it. I am not even nervous anymore. I just go out there and do my bit and get off and as long as I remember all my lines and I don't bump into the furniture, I am doing well. I would recommend doing drama to anyone who is shy. You will soon get past it believe me.

At least it’s Thursday gilly? Not too long to go

Thank you Kalu smile

It's rubbish when you wish your life away... I just seem to live from Friday PM until Sunday PM....still there's only another 10 years to go sad

A late good morning from County Durham. The sky is so dull now so waiting for the raindrops to fall.
I have a friend coming over today for coffee, my sister visiting this evening plus GS staying overnight after nursery, so rather a busy day.
Wishing everyone with troubles some relief today. They always seem much harder to deal with on a grey miserable day.

Legs55 Thu 25-Apr-19 09:47:32

Good morning all from a wet Devon, promise that it will clear up later.

Got another window man coming to look at replacing a couple of windows & check others. I've applied to Council for a Grant, need to see how much they'll fund. So just a day pottering about at home.

Grammaretto Thu 25-Apr-19 09:13:46

Morning all from sunshiny Aberdeenshire. Isn't it always? I asked alexa to play here comes the sun and the baby shouted "louder!"
My last day today of childminding then I go home for a rest.
Have a good day everyone.

Urmstongran Thu 25-Apr-19 08:56:51

Good morning everyone from a very wet Malaga (again). Another ‘in’ day of reading and pottering as I don’t fancy going out in this!

Sorry to hear you’ve troubles Greyduster I hope your mind is easier soon.
What a fab day you have planned Maw - enjoy the tasting session at the end of the tour. My favourite gin is the Scottish Hendricks - served with ice and cucumber.
Bet your dental appointment won’t be half as bad as you’re fearing Harris27
Welcome to the newbie polnan it’s always nice to ‘meet’ new folk.
And Justme do you mind if I ask what part of the country you live in? I like to ‘place’ everyone!

Hope we all enjoy Thursday whether we have plans or (like me) none. x

Good morning from sunny Perthshire although it is a bit chilly yet for morning coffee in the garden.

First off, I am sorry to hear of your troubled times Grey and I do hope a resolution is found to give you some peace of mind. Take care of yourself ?

Healing vibes for that blooming cold kitty

At least it’s Thursday gilly? Not too long to go.

Thankfully no worries for your DH Brunette. That is welcoming news for you both.

A gentle day for me too Marydoll. Much needed after a busy few days with both GDs. my ears are still ringing from their constant chattering as I feel we must have covered every subject under the sun. Just wish I had their energy??

Hope everyone has a pleasant day with positive results where needed.

harrigran Thu 25-Apr-19 08:54:45

Good morning, bright start here in the NE.
Hoping for a quieter day today as yesterday became complicated. DIL rang to say GD was ill and would we call and check on her but DH had hospital appointment, ended up with me accompanying him so that we could carry straight on to GD. Appointments were running late, traffic and car parks were a nightmare and we didn't get our lunch until about three.
Just had a text to say not needed today, and relax.

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

Garden fencing finished, large gaps at bottom where my dogs could escape, have to have wire netting fitted to fence now, rain in Powys so no idea when it can be done, dogs haven’t been out since Monday.

Sorry to moan.

Hope everyone has a good day x

Good morning from east London, cooler and cloudier than lately. Back to the leggings for tennis this morning. Cortisone injection in my thumb this afternoon then choir this evening. Have a good day everyone. (Tried to sign in 4 times from my phone yesterday but each time told to sign in again. Must have offended something in the mechanics).

Welcome polnan. Please share as much or as little as you like.
I can't put my feelings into words as easily as some on here but I feel the friendship that radiates from Gransnet daily.

Morning all from a bright-ish South Notts. Off to town later for a coffee and a chat with a new friend.
Hope all is well with everyone.

oldgaijin Thu 25-Apr-19 08:27:08

Good morning from a cool, damp Aberdeenshire. I think it will be an ironing day as the ground is too wet to do anything outside.
The mutt is talking to me again after his grooming session, and his mates still play with him, in spite of smelling like a rose. Yesterday, there were eight dogs of various sizes, having a chase me Charlie in the woods. There is a lovely, sunny clearing where you can sit and have a blether with fellow dog walkers.
I finished my green man at ceramics last night, so have to find somewhere to hang him...the greenhouse?
Have a good day everyone.

BlueSapphire Thu 25-Apr-19 08:26:45

Good morning everyone from Northampton again.
Got back from my Danube cruise yesterday, so think I will be spending the day unpacking and sorting the washing.
It was a lovely holiday so think I will be fishing out the brochure to see what I fancy next year! We had lovely weather apart from our last day in Budapest where it was grey, windy and bitterly cold, and then rain all afternoon.
Back to real life now.......

crazyH Thu 25-Apr-19 08:21:06

Goodmorning Mick and all. Going to our seniors coffee-morning......started with 12 members....grown to 102 in the past 2 years.
A tip for those who have trouble sleeping....it's not a healthy one, but it works for me. Some carbs before bedtime. Last night, I was having trouble falling off ......went down, made myself a ham sandwich and a hot cup of tea and voila ! Came back into bed and slept like a baby for 7 hours - try it.

Ginny42 Thu 25-Apr-19 08:09:42

Well it's pouring here in north Cheshire and I don't feel inspired to get going and go to painting but I must. A lovely friend there has lost her husband and she's coming back to class today and I feel I owe it to her to be there.

A long meeting of a charity this evening, so I'm treating myself to a hairdo this afternoon.

Best wishes to anyone feeling unwell or with worries. flowers

Good morning from rainy Colchester. The garden needs it but I don't. Wearing an extra layer indoors as I'm NOT putting the heating back on.....
