Congratulations Mcem! How lovely to have a new baby at Easter.
Lovely photo of Barnaby, Susan. That is the name of my best friend’s son in law. He is handsome and very clever!
Kitty I’m sure your photos will be lovely! The only time we had a family photo shoot, my two chose that day to hate each other (and DD had a cold), so we would rather draw a veil over it!?♀️
Momb I read of your climb up Cader Idris, and remembered that we set out on the Pony Path in good weather to do it in 1997, walked for about two hours and then the weather closed in and we couldn’t see a thing, so we turned back! Glad you got to the top. We never got the chance to do it again. Not fit enough now, but I still have the route leaflet should we find sudden reserves of energy!
Glad your son’s treatment is going well, Callgirl. That is heartening.
Corner, I am another who goes ‘funny’ at the thought of nail issues! That must have been painful. Your garden sounds lovely. Being further north, we are still waiting for things to burst into bloom.
Soop you and MacS are looking chipper! Lovely photos. I like the look of your rocky beach.
Panache I agree about the apartment - please don’t lose the chance if you can. You’ve waited so long.
I spent a very pleasant afternoon with my DiL when they came to lunch on Friday - we don’t get together very often. Yesterday was a gardening day, planting up, moving pots around and generally tidying up (and sitting about a lot drinking tea, making plans, drinking more tea.....). Today I have another roast dinner to cook for DD and her menfolk after they have slogged the Monsal Trail on their bikes, but it will be late so I have the best part of the day to sit in the sun with a book! Tomorrow my son’s eldest Stepson and his lady are dropping in on us on their way back to Bucks, so I shall have to rustle up sandwiches and cake. At least it’s not another roast dinner!
Thinking of Ann and all who are struggling at the moment.
