Good morning from a bright and sunny Bilbao. I had breakfast looking at the Guggenheim museum- what a treat! We’re going to La Ribera market today, so my partner can lust after the cheese, hams and fish, while I admire the Art Deco building.

Sunny but cold in Powys

Hope everyone has a good day x

Good morning from a cold but bright NE.
Hospital cancelled DH's appointment yesterday so we went shopping instead.
DD is in the UK for a week but was left unimpressed when she had to stand on the train north, no reservations allowed. No direct flight from Brussels to Newcastle so she can only visit when she has time to come via London.
GD back from her week in Spain with the school, keen to hear how she enjoyed it.

Good morning from Mull, bright cold and windy. Walked both directions along the coast from Tobermory yesterday, towards the lighthouse and then loch aros. Tonight we sing at a castle. Have a good day.

Good morning from the Black Country. Cloudless blue sky, but it’s very chilly at the moment. We will shortly be taking DD and DGD to do their weekly shop. Then hoping it will be warm enough this afternoon to do some gardening.

While out for a lovely catchup with my friend yesterday, DH decided to hang my washing out. Not a good idea with a poorly shoulder so it’s really sore today. I told him not to, but he can be so stubborn!

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Bloomin' freezin' though.
Quiet weekend planned, will play it by ear.

Good Morning from a bright and sunny Black Country.

My partner is meeting up with one of his daughters today in Birmingham, then onto the Aston Villa match. She lives in Bristol and visiting Mum in Coventry, then staying with us today and tomorrow.

I think we are out with her for a curry tonight.

I will just potter in house and garden today.

I hope you enjoy your holiday BlueSapphire it will be mixed emotions for you flowers

Have a good Saturday everyone.

Good morning all from a sunny, but chilly Glasgow.
Unusually, I had a lie in this morning, as everything had seized up.

Planning to potter about and clean up after DH which is painting the Forth Rail ridge decking!
DIL is working today and DS is in charge of DGD, who has a birthday party to go to. I am on call in case of wardrobe emergencies! grin

Baggs, stunning pictures, is it the Gareloch?

Gilly, hope you feel better soon. flowers.

Have a good day all.

Morning Michael, Annie to come, and all, and it is sunny but cold here again.
We had a disturbed night, DH coughing for England, but, he said he slept better last night, not me though!
Gagagran, glad to hear your eye is getting better.
Gilly, you take it easy on the garden makeover.
What a beautiful place you live in Baggs, much nicer view than the houses opposite us.
BlueSapphire, have a wonderful holiday, and enjoy your weekend one and all.

Good morning everyone; another bright and sunny day in Northampton.

Post office this morning, then back to get the cats ready for their stay at the cattery. They are being collected at lunchtime. Then cut the back grass this afternoon.

Family have suggested a meal out tonight to give me a good send-off on my holiday. I go on Monday, a river cruise on the Danube, my first holiday since DH died last year.

Think I did something stupid yesterday, decided to shred my old will as I have made a new one - but I may have shredded DH's by mistake. Thankfully his estate is dealt with and it is no longer needed, and I have probate. But I may apply for a copy from the government website.

Hope everyone's day goes well.

Good morning from a bright, sunny Aberdeenshire, but it is bloody cold. Am meeting ex colleagues for coffee and blether this morning so it's quick shower and quick walk with mutt...he's curled up beside me at the moment showing no desire to go out.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from a cold but bright NE coast.

Phase one of DD’s urgent garden makeover starts today with old fence being pulled down and posts put in ready for new one tomorrow . Thankfully it is a small garden but there is so much to do.

I’m thinking I might need another trip to GP as my chest seems to be getting worse instead of better. Still no test results after a week! Being outdoors all day might help.

Glad your eye is finally improving Gaga . We had the dreaded “cutting and sticking” this week too Ginny42 they had such fun making Easter cards etc. But oh the mess......

I can hear the wood pigeons here too Urmstongran they are scrabbling to get onto the bird table where DGD1 has stocked it with tasty treats. They are not very bright are they? I hope you continue to enjoy your break in Malaga envy

Gorgeous sun rise Baggs it look so perfectly peaceful .

Hope everyone has a good Saturday x

Good morning all. Bright and sunny with a light frost in E. Northants. Lovely pictures Baggs! Full nights sleep for the first time in a week, so I think the cold must be getting better. I went out for some fresh air yesterday, then came home quickly after having an embarrassing coughing fit in the street. Gasping for breath, nose and eyes streaming - not a pretty sight! So maybe I'll potter around indoors today where I can't frighten the horses. Have a good day everyone.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Back home from Wales yesterday afternoon and weather in South Yorkshire today is as Maple has given upthread. DS is coming for lunch and then football with DH, so I will have time to myself this afternoon. Beautiful photos, Baggs! Have a good day, folks.

Good Morning Mick, Good Moring all.
It is a beautiful sunny morning on S Welsh coast.
DH is watching the qualifying for the Chinese Grand Prix, hope Hamilton does well.

Glad your eye is better Gaga
A Happy Birthday to your DH Nina ? Enjoy your Chinese take away.
Aggie that is such a nuisance and inconvenience for you.
Enjoy your early Easter Sunday * Ginny* I can remember my DD asking me that about the Easter Bunny.

Have a lovely day everyone, enjoy the sunshine if you can.

Urmstongran Sat 13-Apr-19 07:39:31

Gorgeous view Baggs
Which loch - I can’t remember where you live!

Urmstongran Sat 13-Apr-19 07:37:32

X-ed posts Justme thanks for giving your location. It’s part of the enjoyment on this thread to know where we are all saying ‘good morning’ from!

Baggs Sat 13-Apr-19 07:35:47

Morning, folks! Bit more cloud here than we have had lately so no frost this morning. I've some twiggy branchy sallow clearing to do at the top of the garden today. Pics looking across the loch early yesterday.

Urmstongran Sat 13-Apr-19 07:34:17

Good morning everyone from Malaga where it’s sunny with a light breeze. I can hear the wood pigeons and have opened the door to peep out. I love the early morning scent of the pine trees.

My husband has just gone out for his walk. I’ve got my cuppa and slid back into bed for a lazy hour with the iPad. We are definite proof of the rule that opposites attract!

Hope we all have a good Saturday whether there are plans or none. x

Justme67 Sat 13-Apr-19 07:30:38

Good morning everyone, another bright morning here, and for Kitty and Urmstongran who asked, I live in Bognor Regis, have done so for the past 17 years when we down=sized.
Lots of changes since then, but it was a good move. Today I have a grocery delivery, and I hope to get out to see some friends this afternoon, depends on the legs. Glad your eye is feeling a little better Gagagran, tlc does wonders sometimes. Take care and enjoy your days

Esther1 Sat 13-Apr-19 07:29:12

Good Morning everyone, from Surrey. So lovely to see the clear blue sky and sunshine- it’s really cold still though. My 4 year old GD is being brought round for the day while her Mummy goes to work and her Daddy gets in a well earned game of golf. I will take GD into town to have lunch with her Mummy in Mummy’s lunch break.

Ginny42 Sat 13-Apr-19 07:25:10

Morning Mick and everyone. It's another frosty morning with blue skies. The bluebells are appearing in the woods, so with more sunshine there will be a blue haze soon.

My DD and GS arrive today from Spain and I've moved Easter Sunday to tomorrow because they will be gone before next weekend. GS asked his M if he doesn't believe in the Easter bunny any longer does he still get chocolate. Yep! I've made an Easter box with an egg and art materials for tomorrow.

Oh dear Aggie. flowers Glad your eye is better GagaGran. flowers

Good Morning all and to those who follow. Bright and dry here in Fife, I think it's to be a fine day. DH has a very sore back and had trouble sleeping, oh dear not sure what kind of day we are in for, will wait and see. Hope Saturday is good to everyone.
