Good Morning Tuesday
(45 Posts)Good Morning Everyone,
Another grey start this morning, feels cold outside.
Back into a normal routine today, with bus pass use to Buckingham ,and Bicester with shops and coffees.
Mick
Lovely picture Urmston - very envious. No holidays for us until I get me treatment plan sorted out and there is some improvement if that is possible!
Weather is picking up here in Leicester - at least there is enough blue sky to make a Scotsman a pair of trousers!!
I feel so sorry for all you who are suffering with teeth problems, the worse thing ever in my mind. Just spent 3 days going out visiting bike shops to buy a new light weight bike that I can lift onto the car and I found one. But I am puzzled how it only takes 4 days for delivery from Germany but 10 from stock in this country. Today will be an easy day, just caught up o my paperwork, the weather is grey and damp looking but dry so I will walk to the shops buy the necessary, have a coffee and come home on the bus. Have a lovely happy day everyone.
A very late good morning from a chilly and grey Black Country.
Had to drive over to daughters early this morning, as they were expecting a delivery of furniture. As it turned out it was delivered as I was driving there. So I took granddaughters to school, then drove home. So I at least didn't have to wait in.
Just had a long phone chat to a friend who moved to Lincs in 2017, then realised it was after 11.00am and not done a lot so far.
Have a lovely day everyone
Good late morning everyone . It's cold and grey in my part of the Black Country. I've been to the gym as was expecting granddaughters early. Plans changed now they will be here after tea time. Just want to say to Gagagran see if your local opticians has a minor eye conditions service. They have all the right equipment to diagnose what is wrong and it might be quicker
Good morning all from a very sunny Scotland. Been busy with family “stuff” so have not posted for a while. School holidays here, so everywhere is busy. I am off to plant up my hanging baskets then lunch with a new friend. Have a good day everyone.
Good morning from east London where it’s cold and miserable. Itsy bitty sort of day, leg wax, collect bras from m&s in Stratford, buy a few bits for my break to Mull and GD later for a sleepover. Also car is having its tyres sorted. Have a good day.
Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Sunny but cold today.
I'm so glad I made it to yesterday's meet up. It was lovely.
Now preparing for our anniverary holiday in Cornwall. 50 yrs married. I can't believe it.
Hope all those with aches, pains and worries get relief.
Morning from the south east.
It’s gloomy outside and in. I’m off to the dentist as I think I’ve got an abscess!
Oh well
I hope you all have a lovely day!
Dull and raining here but the sun will be out for me at least when I collect male menopaws from hospital at lunchtime!!
Morning all from an overcast South Notts. I'll be visiting my sister today. Her grand-daughter (my great niece) will be there as it's half-term. As she's 13 I expect she'll be buried in her Ipad/pod/smartphone, whatever it is and we'll get barely a peep out of her.
Lovely photo Urmstongran. We have booked for Italy this year but your photo makes me think a little break in Benalmadena may be on the cards!
Good morning from a chilly but sunny Perthshire.
DH having bloods taken and more BP check this morning . It’s up and down like a yo-yo at the moment until meds that work for him are being tried. One of our pastimes these day is to check each other’s BP daily. Romantic fools us?
Always the worse time, sleep deprivation and the wee small hours has my mind on overdrive as I analyse everything to death whenever troubled. Hope you can manage a snooze later Harri
Hope your DGD feels better today Gilly. Sod’s law these things happen just when they are looking forward to enjoying a school holiday.
I’ll be having words with you Marydoll. Probably overdoing things yesterday living the high life in Edinburgh ?
Hope everyone has a pleasant day.
Goodmorning Mick and all. Have a nice day !
That comment about your walk made me laugh EV!
Good morning All x
Well it was sunny before but cloud is coming in and it's quite cool now. So glad I did a line full of washing yesterday and got it all dry, it's such a good feeling.
Well I told the housing what they could do with their central heating yesterday after being in limbo for 6 months, workmen to and fro and not doing anything in particular and me surrounded by all the dishes etc from the kitchen units, so they can all take a running jump. I was jiggered putting all the dishes away and they never fit back where they once were !
Asda later to make sure I have Easter eggs because they vanish so quickly. Weather permitting I'll do my 1/4 of a mile walk through the cemetery ( to get used to the view ).
Hope everyone's day goes well.
Good morning everyone from sunny Malaga. Here is a photo I took yesterday afternoon when walking home after seeing my friends. We had a great catch up with lots to talk about as it’s been 10 weeks since we were last here.
The photo you took is beautiful Marydoll what a gorgeous view!
Hope your grandchildren get better soon gillybob as you say, timing eh?
Gosh, some of you ladies are energetic - swimming and cycling - you put me to shame!
Hope we all have a good Tuesday, whether you have plans or (like me) none. x
Good morning all...at last, Aberdeenshire is basking in brilliant Spring sunshine, so it's away to the woods with the mutt for a good chase round with his mates. He's just a little fluffy job but he thinks he's a Rottweiler and it's hilarious watching him try to outdistance a lurcher!
The greenhouse beckons so hope to finish seed planting and prepare pots for tomatoes etc..
Have a great day everyone.
Morning from damp and grey Kent. We had rain in the night and are forecast April showers through out the day.
DH is supposed to be working all day hmm. I need to do a food shop this morning.
Have a good day, wishing everyone peace of mind and good health.
Good morning Auntyflo and all x
More rain in Powys.
Hope everyone has a good day x
Good morning from a grey skied Colchester. Sunny and up to 20 degrees here yesterday but we were not home. Today we have time to varnish the garden furniture but the weather may not agree.
Morning Mick and All.
Slightly later signing in from me as I was up at 4.00am with an aching jaw. I went downstairs for milk and a rich tea so that I could take some painkillers. I have a tooth infection fortunately I have some antibiotics the dentist gave me in case this happened. I’ve had the tablets before don’t like them but they did the trick before.
Grey and cool here in South Bucks.
We have our WI Birthday Tea today so I won’t eat any supper tonight as I will be full of sandwiches, scones, cakes etc.
Hope those of you who are not feeling 100% improve during the day.
Hope you can recover quickly Mary from your fun day out yesterday.
It looks quite overcast here in Letchworth this morning, but at least it is not raining, yet. Off to meet up with friends for coffee then pick up a few bits of shopping. I did debate whether not to go as i have a cold at the moment but i think the fresh air walking to town will help clear my head and nose, and i know the banter will cheer me up.
Sorry Gaga, I thought it was Harri who has a sore eye. I hope it improves today, it's miserable when your eye is uncomfortable.
Harri sorry I gave you a sore eye in addition to your worries! It's a horrible feeling when thoughts are in tailspin in the night. (Hugs)
Good morning from a bright and sunny Bayonne. After breakfast we are heading for San Sebastián in Spain- by bus, which will be a new experience for us. Bayonne is a delightful city with a gloriously Puginesque over-the-top cathedral and friendly people.
I hope those who slept badly have a happier day- horrible to be up in the night, and worries always seem worse then, don’t they?
