Good morning,

It’s fairly dull here at the moment, but the forecast says it’s going to brighten up in the ne t hour or so.

Snap, Ginny42, we’ve got the decorator in, too, doing our hall and landing. It’s looking a lot brighter.
I agree with you about colour charts - they only give an approximation, don’t they?

He, like yours, is very tidy, and very good.

Hope you all have a good day. ?

Good morning from the NE coast. A dull start but the sun is breaking through. I had the 3 older grandchildren overnight so it’s childcare duties today . DGD2 has been up all night being sick, it seems there is a bug going around so no doubt the rest will follow. Baby granddaughter has a nasty cold already so I hope she doesn’t catch it although it’s probaly inevitable. Great start to the Easter break.

I know just what it’s like for “your brain to do cartwheels” in the middle of the night harri everything just seems 100 times worse doesn’t it? I hope your eye improves gaga although it may be an infection and need antibiotics.

Have a good Tuesday everyone x

A nice start to the day here in Fife. DD and DGC are coming along today, hopefully we shall get out and enjoy the dry weather. Everyone seems to have a busy day - enjoy!

Morning Mick and everyone. It's grey here too, but I'm hoping for another warm, sunny day.

Sorry to hear about your eye Harri. Why not make an appointment and cancel later if your eye improves? flowers

The decorator is here for 3 days. He's brilliant and doesn't leave a mess, but why are the colours on the charts never the same in the tin and then a different shade on the wall? I like it, but it's not the exact effect I wanted in the hall.
Kitchen today so was up early moving stuff.

Have a good day everyone.

thanks to Gaga and Harri grans. Not good starts to the day. Grey here too, like most of you too. First viewing of our atypically tidy house today!

Marydoll Tue 09-Apr-19 07:17:39

I meant to say that I hoped Gaga's eye improves. ?I guess you are bathing it with saline too, if so perhaps you need to visit your GP for some relief. .

Dry and slightly blowy in Cumbria. Cycling with U3A this morning. A coastal route so at least it is flat! But it is 29 miles. Hopefully will make up for the cake I ate yesterday!

Good Morning Mick and everyone.
It has rained overnight here on S Welsh coast and is very grey, supposed to brighten up later though.

DS brought his little dog over yesterday, she has a sore paw. No idea how it happened but she was feeling very sorry for herself. Not sure if we are dog sitting again today, though we have her next week while DS and DiL are on holiday.

Hope everyone enjoys their day.

Good morning all. A grey start in E. Northants and the forecast is for rain. Another restless night with a heavy cold - the first one for several years. I suspect it was gifted by great grandson! Routine blood test first thing then a quiet day ahead catching up with recordings, Lemsip for company. Hope it's a pleasant day for everyone.

Good Morning all.
Damp and very grey here.
Swimming for me this morning. I’ve been very lax about it for months and want to make more effort. A homework day will follow.
Hope you all have have a lovely day ?

Marydoll Tue 09-Apr-19 07:03:20

Good morning Mick and all, it's chilly here too in Glasgow.

Tired after a lovely meet up in Edinburgh, it was a long day for me, but worth it, beautiful surroundings and great company.

We have DGD for the next two days, as nursery is closed.
I have a hairdresser's appointment later. DH made a dentist appointment, forgetting about DGD, (How could he frorget her!!!) so of course it was me who had to cancel my early appointment. Thank goodness, I have a very understanding hairdresser.

Harri flowers and I hope your eye improves.
Enjoy your day everyone.

Morning All , grey and still so far . Why can I not sleep in on a day when there is nothing to get up for ?

Gagagran Tue 09-Apr-19 06:46:12

Good Morning everyone!

It looks fairly bright here on the south coast but still chilly. We are forecast showers today and not very warm. Typical April weather.

I have a sore and bloodshot eye despite using drops from the pharmacy. Might need a GP appointment if I can get one.

Hope the day is kind to us all. sunshine

Good morning from a grey NE.
Been up since 3am, awful since I only went to bed at 12.30.
Lot on my mind and brain is doing cartwheels. I have managed to catch up on a lot of reading sitting in the kitchen and so handy for the kettle.

BlueSapphire Tue 09-Apr-19 06:26:08

Good morning Mick and everyone.
Not peered out of the window yet! Been up an hour, just couldn't get back to sleep.
Coffee this morning with an ex-neighbour who has just moved to a new house. Expect it will look perfect!
Hope everyone's day goes well.

Good morning Mick and all to follow.Looks like it's going to be a bright day here in Shropshire.
Off into town this morning to sort our holiday out then back home to catch up on household things after a couple of days away.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning mick, morning all!

North Leicestershire is also quite grey and a little chilly.

Busy day for me today. I have a hair appointment and I have some shopping to do in town and then an Alzheimer's course.

Enjoy your days everyone.
