Well yes, hair - it causes problems when our head hair won't do what we want and other places where we don't want it at all!
About four years ago I had chemo - the result of which is virtually no armpit or arm hair which is a bonus. During the treatment I had no nasal hair and a permanently runny nose which was infuriating, but now I feel that my nasal hair is longer and more 'ticklish' than it used to be which is a bit annoying. I use a special trimmer to cut short, rather than get rid entirely.
My head hair is now rather nice if I say so myself but I still get unwanted hair on my chin and moustache area. I peer at my face daily in a magnifying mirror armed with tweezers. Annoying isn't it? But still, I'm alive and that's the main thing. smile

Your last sentence had me rolling about EllenVannin....!

Join a circus ! You've missed your vocation.

Joking apart my arms used to be quite hairy, but with fair hair, legs similar but not as profuse---------but now it's all completely vanished ! No shaving, nothing so I can only blame it on one of the pills I take that has been responsible for it vanishing.
Hair on my head has thinned over the years but I do still have some so thank goodness I'm not bald like my arms and legs are.
Have to keep an eye on the odd chin whiskers which I yank out now and again and are like the bristles of a toothbrush. As for the " muzzy " area, I trim that with the scissors as I don't want an Errol Flynn either.

( sigh )--so many little things to look out for !

I've told my daughter to make sure I don't have a full beard and moustache after I've expired.

Perhaps try to get out more.

I've got a few up there (just looked in magnifying mirror) but I don't think they show enough to endure any pain. With DH's I shove my little nail scissors up and clip. Seems to work, but the wax thing is something I will put before him. Where did you buy it?

I nearly didn't read all your post, for fear of the 'too much information'.
But it turned into such a good news story, I'm glad I did! smile

As I get older, I find that hair is causing me a problem. Less on my head, more on my face and as for my legs-well. I have never had such dark, profuse and long hair on my legs. I cant believe that at one time I didn't bother shaving my legs that often as the hair was fine, very blonde and just on my shins. Suddenly, I'm not keeping up with it. I know its all vanity, but I like to deal with it.

However, what has really bothered me over the past year or so is nose hair. At first, I would notice the odd hair poking out of my nostril. I would get my mirror, a magnifying glass and a pair of tweezers. I would eventually manage to pincer the rogue hair and pull. Oh the pain. There can be little as exquisitely painful as plucking a nose hair.

Then the hair got more profuse. I bought one of these small hair remover thingys that has a nasal hair removal piece. The results were random. I lived in fear of a rogue hair springing to attention while I was at work, dealing with the public face to face

Anyway, today, I have found something that will revolutionise my nasal hair problem. A waxing kit. It is amazing

It felt a bit odd putting hot wax up my nose but it wasn't so bad. What was bizarre was waiting the required time with two wax covered mini spatula type things up my nose, meanwhile looking like Blackadder in the trenches with pencils up his nose crying wibble

I waited and the 90 seconds passed. I prepared to grasp the spatulas and pull downwards, sharply. I nearly lost my nerve. If it was bad pulling out one hair, what about numerous hairs in both nostrils.

I took a deep breath and yanked. It was OK. And oh the joy of looking at the wax covered spatulas bristling with those pesky hairs. And one glance in the mirror revealed hair free nostrils. It has made my Sunday!
