Thank you Marydoll. Perhaps he should be referred to as male menopaws!

Good morning all. Bright and sunny in E. Northants. Caught up on my lost sleep so feeling ready to enjoy the 60's and 70's dance tonight. Which means little sleep again as I find it hard to wind down afterwards. Enjoy a good day everyone.

Good morning all from cold but clear ne. Thinking of you marydoll and hoping you and your grandaughter are soon feeling better. I am going to my gs 5th birthday party today after sad week. And tomorrow night taking my sister to see bootleg Beatles so a cheery weekend I hope. Have a lovely day all.

Good Morning to all and a special welcome back to Marydoll. It's not a nice day here in Fife, dull and raining. A day for the house I think, I have plenty to keep me occupied. Wishing everyone a pleasant day.

Very quiet here as husband in the Royal Marsden after major surgery. Will visit again later but looks like quite a nice day outside so I have to say I'm enjoying a peaceful week before I become a nurse!

Good morning Mick and all, well I'm back!

I have been pretty unwell this week, after my visit to the rheumatologist on Monday. I had injections in both hands and they are even worse than before! sad.
My consultant actually phoned from Euro Disney to urge me to go on new toxic medication, as I'm not doing too well. Not a "happy " visit, but what excellent care from him!
I have felt so unwell, (and pretty low), to top it all, I now need to see the foot surgeon and we had to look after our wee grandaughter all week, as she has been very poorly.
Her parents had paid for her to go to nursery , (school holidays) to give me a rest, but her contant asthmatic cough is making her vomit, even worse during the night.
She never complains. All in all, a busy week.

I was touched by those grans who messaged me to ask where and how I was. It meant a lot to me.
As I've said before, I never expected to make such good friends at my age! Thank you all for your good wishes. I have missed this thread!
I promise tomorrow's thread will not be as long. grin

An easy day today, with no responsibilities, I can't wait!
Enjoy your Saturday, everyone.

Morning everyone.

Hungerford is rather grey this morning. Journey yesterday was better than expected.
After breakfast we are going for a drive around and visit a garden centre then back for cream tea.
Have a good day everyone.

Good Morning Mick and everyone!

It's a brighter start to the day here on the south coast but still feels a bit nippy to me. DH is off out with his cycle club but I am planning a quiet at-home day after a busy week and another such looming for next week.

I do plan on watching the Grand National though. My tip is Lake View Lad.

Have a good day folks! sunshine

Morning, All. It's cold here with an easterly wind which has at least lessened overnight. I shall be making soup with some leftover butternut squash and whatever else I can find that's suitable.

My mum, who had a fall and broke several ribs, is still in hospital and being monitored. Her breathing is easier than it was so that's good.

Morning all!

North Leicestershire is quite bright this morning.

Not much on today. A walk to the village for flowers and then bitting and bobbing.

Spicy chicken wings for supper.

Enjoy your trip Dora and thanks for the update on Mary, kate.

Ah thanks NanKate and for the update about Marydoll I do hope she’s better soon. I thought I’d not seen her posting recently, nor MissA come to that?

Nanabanana1 Sat 06-Apr-19 07:22:28

Good morning everyone from Malaga where the sun is only just coming up. Although an hour ahead of the U.K. I’d forgotten just how dark it is here in early morning at this time of year. The rain stopped finally yesterday afternoon so this morning is dry but it’s chilly out on the balcony - I soon scooted back into bed to enjoy my cuppa!

Hope Saturday is a good day or all of us, whatever your plans or none. x

Don’t worry about packing the right clothes DoraMarr as long as you like the ones you have packed. Enjoy your trip.

Beechnut Sat 06-Apr-19 07:04:39

Good Morning all.

Thank you for your good wishes and flowers yesterday. Take things steady today Mick.

Dry and grey with a peep of brightness this morning on Severnside.
I have a few jobs to do so will potter about and see how far I get with them.

Hope you all have a good day ?

Good morning Micheal and everyone from a cold but bright Birmingham. I’m going to London today en route to France, and then San Sebastián and Bilbao. I’m having my last minute panic- have unpacked the right clothes? ( Yes, probably.) What will we do if we miss our connections? (catch the next train.) etc etc. I love travelling but I am always so anxious just before I go!

Good Morning Everyone,
Its a grey start here in Brackley this morning , had a good 12 hours sleep trying to recover from the visit to London.

My usual Saturday , to Buckingham and Bicester , and hopefully try and get back into a normal routine.
