Getting used to it again, after some time.

Right now I'd say " rissoles to Windows 10 !"

I have an iMac (desktop) in my sewing room dining room, a Windows laptop and an iPad. The iMac has all my downloaded sewing and knitting patterns, and I also use it for Pinterest and other sewing/craft related sites.

I keep my laptop in the living room, tucked under the sofa, and use it to check into GN (among other things!) while having breakfast each day. It is weird with the different key placements, but you get used to it.

I don't use my iPad that much - it's main use is when I'm sewing, as I store pattern instructions in the 'Books' app, and can have this on the table next to my sewing machine - much easier than toing and froing to the iMac!

I have a desk-top PC, a laptop, and a Kindle Fire, but I use my Kindle the most (as I can sit comfortably in an armchair in the sitting room!).
The desk-top is in the study where it is too blooming cold! I only use that if I need to print something or use Word for documents.
The laptop is on the dining room table, and I tend to use that for online shopping and banking.
But I mostly sit in comfort on my Kindle, and do GN, Facebook etc.

Do you find yourself tapping the pages of a book and wondering why they don’t turn? Too long on the Kindle! ?

I feel so wrong on a laptop now and even tried tapping the screen the other day Mind you I found myself with my finger and thumb trying to enlarge the page I was reading on my book recently so there’s absolutely NO hope for me

I use both an iMac and a normal Window pc and you're right that some of the keys are different. I've had this Mac for 9 years now and still get lost in the system at times - pretty sure my other half would get far too frustrated with it! I have an iPad as well as an Amazon fire and use them for different things but rarely anything I need to type much on as I make too many errors Enjoy your new desktop!

phoenix I have an Amazon Fire which I tend to use on the go but much prefer the comfort of my armchair and laptop. It so much easier to write and correct mistakes on it. OH uses a desktop, upstairs in the 'study' which is the bedroom only big enough for a cot! It's a right mess in there with papers everywhere and all sorts of stuff on the worktops he attached to the walls. I close the door on it. It's nice that we have our own spaces for computing stuff.
