Good morning from a cold damp ne. It's my mams funeral today saying goodbye to a lady who was quiet but feisty in later dementia years. Hope I'll be able to read a poem out but wonder if nerves and emotion will take over. So glad her fight is over and do feel relief but immense sadness. X

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Chilly but much better than yesterday's rain and hail.
Housework, admin and shopping will fill my day.

Good morning to you all, it is very cold here on the south coast, the sun is trying it's best, but the clouds are quite threatening. Yesterday we had heavy hail storms which made it look like mid winter out there. The forecast is that we might have more of that, so think I will not venture too far. The gardener was coming, first time this year, not sure that will happen. Enjoy your days.

Good Morning all from a dreech Fife. Not pleasant at all out at the moment. Urmstongran - sounds wonderful - enjoy! DH was up through the night with a sore back goodness knows what he has done, keeping fingers crossed it gets better. Some shopping to be done today. Hope Thursday is good o all.

Morning Mick, morning All from a very wet corner of Somerset. Not nice out there, windy too. Mr C is still decorating, another wardrobe to sort for me before a spot of childminding this evening. Should be almost sorted by Sunday, be pleased to be tidy again. Hope Thursday is kind to everyone.

Good morning everyone; it's a lovely bright morning in Northampton, but cold and frosty.

Has a lovely day out in Milton Keynes yesterday, a nice lunch and shopping. When I got home there were flowers from DD and DSil, and then DS came round with more flowers. I am spoiled!

Going out for lunch today with my oldest friend; her DH died 8 years ago and it would have been their golden wedding tomorrow. Must remember to write the little card I've got for her.

I’m meeting a friend who lives out here in our favourite bar at 3pm for a crisp gin and tonic (hands up who thought I was going to say salad?). Saw a little mini mart over here yesterday - popular with the ex pats - called ‘Spainburys’ which made me chuckle!

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. It’s a bit grey and misty in South Yorkshire this morning, and I am waiting for GS to be dropped off for the day. He wants to bake today, but other than that I have no idea how the day will pan out. I don’t think the weather is going to be very helpful. Have a good day folks.

A cool, damp start here on the NE coast but the sun is just starting to break through. A very busy day areas with school runs and meetings at “that awful place” . Saw the GP yesterday who has arranged for some tests at the hospital tomorrow. She suggested I take some time off “on the sick” . Ha ha what a joke that is.... as the saying goes “there is no rest for the wicked”.
