What a performance ?

I usually but it loose, but this time came in the hamper at Christmas. The funny thing was watching DH as he searched for a pair of pliers, he was walking around with the tin of corned beef in his hand.

Corned beef tins should come with an accident warning!

I always open the tin with a tin opener, ignoring the little tab.

What you need MiniMoon is a gadget like this. It’s approx 6” long, from handle to end, where I have inserted a piece of paper, so that you can see where the tab goes.
I have had it for years and don’t remember where I got it from, but when we do have a tin of corned beef, it’s one of those things I would miss if it went missing.

I usually end up struggling with the tin-opener when that happens.
I had to jab the silver seal on the milk this morning as the little tab broke off.
Either packaging is getting stronger or I'm getting weaker but I've had some real problems at times opening things.

Open the can. Now, where was the toolkit? Nowhere to be found of course! We looked for pliers in all the usual places, no sign of them.
Eventually he decided to attack the can with a can opener. He managed to open it, so we have had our soup and corned beef sandwiches.
All I need to know now, is what has he done with his toolkit?
