There are lots of heated throws and lap blankets on Amazon and Ebay. Good luck with your search.

Unfortunately my nutty terrier would eat the lap cat before I got my hands warm.

You beat me to it Bagatelle. Was going to suggest a lap cat, very warm but doesn’t do slippers.

Lap dog? Very reliable, fetches slippers.

I purchased an electric over blanket on E-bay for my late DH who was living with heart failure and felt very cold most of the time. His bones ached a lot as well but the heat from the throw really helped. I have it rolled up in a drawer as I can imagine a time when I may well be using it myself. Will pm you a link to the site.

I have a heated shoulder blanket. I bought it on recommendation from my Osteopath for arthritis in my neck. It has been a massive help. I also have problems with my hands and feet, so I thought an electric lap blanket while I am sitting in my chair might help.

The choice is quite large, with the same items having a range of very differing reviews. Does anyone have a reliable one that is not too heavy and won’t stop working after a few months. The reliability seems to be really hit and miss.
