Jura2 - a day which will obviously will stay with you forever I reckon. I know what you mean about 'seems like yesterday - a century ago'. Life is like that on most things I think, where does the time go to. Not sure where you are now but you are thinking of a move again? I certainly hope you have enjoyed your 10 years wherever it has been. Spring has sprung here too - it's a beautiful day here in Fife at the moment. flowers

Gorgeous sunny day here, Spring has sprung. 10 years ago we made the Big Move from Leicestershire and it was a different picture. It was snowing heavily and a gale, and the lorry, on summer tyres, could not come up the hill to the house. We had to help them move everything up the slope - and put some beds up for the drivers/movers- who were expected to sleep in the lorry sad must have been minus 20C.

Took them for a meal to a local restaurant when we had fnished, and they left after breakfast- despite our warnings not to, and phoning their office to that effect. Got down to the French Mway in second gear for nearly 2 hours- but at least they got home safe.

It seems like yesterday- and it seems like a Century ago - weird. When we go 'back home' in the UK, we will finally go and visit our old house, where we lived 34 years- and which is now a Children's Nursery- I am finally ready.
