Dull, gloomy and depressing in our part of Oxfordshire this morning! Still, I suppose I should be grateful that we don’t have gales like last week, or terrible floods like the ones in Mozambique and other African countries.

I don’t eat breakfast on work days ( never seem to have time to enjoy it) but I do have that Friday feeling, Thank you Kalu smile

Morning from chilly Dorset. Off for a walk in the woods with the dog.

Good morning from rainy Scotland. Glad I did the sheets and towels yesterday. marydoll you are very kind leaving clear instructions to ensure a traumatic time is no more difficult than it has to be. anniebach can the fence cost be shared with a neighbour? I am off out for coffee and cake with a friend who needs cheering up. This evening I have to put together a knitted cardigan - my lovely granny enjoyed that and used to do it for me - perfectly.

Good morning all from as Marydoll has said here in Glasgow but I am trying to convince myself it is definitely brightening up a bit....ever the optimist?

TGI Friday for you Gilly and I’ll have what you had for breakfast, you’re bright as a button this morning and it’s catching. Candlelit supper at home maybe if DH works too late?

Good, luck at IKEA Kitty. DH refuses point black to go there. He doesn’t know what he’s missing?

I know the feeling of ‘what day is it’ *Brunette’ sometimes even, what year is it?

Dentist today and troublesome tooth may finally be extracted = I can cut down on painkillers...always a silver lining?

Good morning All, dull and misty on the East Norfolk coast. I'm sat outside kennels while Ddog has his annual groom. He hates baths and is wary of strangers, hence the reason I'm not straying too far. Blinking wind is going through my bones smile

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Maple was spot on with the forecast for South Yorkshire, but I hope it stays dry. Food shopping this morning. GS is coming to stay overnight. Home made chicken pie has been requested, and we have to have some treats for when he is watching the football with Grandad. Have a good day, folks.

Good morning Micheal, Anniebach and everyone from overcast, but mild, Birmingham. Overslept this morning, so was only just up when my daughter and grandson arrived. He has gone for his nap, so I am sitting down with another cup of tea, after a whirlwind of books, toy farm, books again, weetabix and banana, nappy change, more books and a singsong. And it’s only nine o’clock.
Last night I saw a very good play written by a friend, with a very talented cast, and we had an interesting discussion afterwards in the bar. Today baby grandson and I will go to the park ( with stick) and my partner will come for lunch. Then more books, nappies etc. Tiring but fun.
Annie: have sent pm.

Grey but not cold here, we feel a garden centre shopping experience coming on, am in pursuit of new hydrangeas and I want them all!

Pittcity Fri 22-Mar-19 08:59:21

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester.
Laundry and shopping today as we are emerging from jet lag after our fabulous holiday down under.
Maybe we should go "toothpaste" next!

Anniebach Fri 22-Mar-19 08:55:50

Good morning All x
Sun was blazing through the rooms earlier but it's vanished behind a heavy looking sky. Not too cold though.
I slept heavily last night for some unknown reason and it's a bit draining but I'll buck up as the day goes on.

Not much happening today, unless D calls in.

Hope everyone enjoys their day.

Good morning from east London, grey and mild at the moment. Tennis this morning and school pickup later to take GD to her dad's. And nothing else planned. Have a good day.

NfkDumpling Fri 22-Mar-19 08:15:32

Morning All

Grey and still here in the north of Norfolk.

Art class this morning and DH has a doctor’s appointment.
Hopefully the sun will ‘burn through’ this afternoon.

Happy Anniversary Tuggy!

Toothpaste - To the opera? To the coast?

Good morning all from a dull and windy Fife. First thread I saw today was ‘Good Morning Thursday’ threw me completely thought I was going doolalley. No it’s def a Friday. No plans for today so will see how it goes may see DD with DGS’s. Marydoll glad all went well yesterday, it’s something we have to think about. Hope everyone had a good day. Look after yourself.

harrigran Fri 22-Mar-19 08:09:26

Good morning, another mild start to the day.
Went out for lunch yesterday to what used to be a very good restaurant, sadly it had changed hands and is now mediocre at best. Temperature reached 17 degrees so quite pleasant out.

ninathenana Fri 22-Mar-19 08:07:30

gillybob Fri 22-Mar-19 07:55:33

I think you’re right Maple it just reads so funny... and I wanna go toothpaste...I do...I really do. grin

Mapleleaf Fri 22-Mar-19 07:53:19

Yes, it had me wondering, too, gillybob!
I imagine it’s predictive text being too clever by half again! grin

Willow10 Fri 22-Mar-19 07:52:13

Good morning all. A bit grey but mild in E. Northants. Not sure what the plans are today, I missed a parcel delivery yesterday so hope I'm not waiting around all day for that. I like to get out, even of it's only for a mooch and a coffee! Hope it's a good Friday for everyone.

gillybob Fri 22-Mar-19 07:44:06

What’s “toothpaste” Harris27 ? Silly question I know because I actually know what toothpaste is....

Just asking ‘cos I might want to go toothpaste too. grin hate missing out on stuff.

megan123 Fri 22-Mar-19 07:43:07

Good morning everyone. Dull and dismal here in Derbyshire. Not raining though which is good. Waiting for the courier today, so that may take all day.
Hope you all have a good day and the hospital appointments for some go well.

Harris27 Fri 22-Mar-19 07:38:48

Good morning from blowey north east. Had hospital visit yesterday glad that's over going toothpaste tonight but have day's work to do first.happy friday all.

Marydoll Fri 22-Mar-19 07:35:35

Good morning all, from a breezy wet Glasgow.

I was hoping to have an "emptie", today, as DH and DS were going golfing for the day, but have cancelled due to the weather.
I shall go off out for a couple of hours on my own , as our home is never a quiet household, so much coming and going, that I just want some, quiet "me", time. Is that selfish?

Our funeral plans were completed yesterday, (My DD was horrified, ? didn't want to think about it), my next task is to shred the millions of paperwork I have been keeping, just in case it is needed" grin I will tackle it this afternoon, it will be so cathartic.

Gaga, glad you are on the mend.
Gilly, I know exactly how you feel about that place. Enjoy your Friday afternoon.
1inamillion, I hope you get on ok at the hospital.

Have a good Friday, everyone
