At least he's honest!

I had to smile when I saw him downing the champagne...yes, at least he is honest.
After all, if such a huge amount of money doesn’t change your lifestyle you are either an idiot or a monk.
The times we hear them say ‘ oh, this won’t change a thing, I shall be at the factory in the morning/ down the pub with the boys/ staying in this council house ‘etc!

I understood he has told his parents to stop saving and to go ahead and spend his inheritance! He is also buying them a house and taking care of extended family.

He has warned off gold diggers - saying if he felt he couldn't "pull" them before he won they don't stand a chance now as he feels he hasn't become more attractive but his wallet has! I really like his down to earth attitude and hope he manages to keep his feet on the ground.

One of them had said that he didn't do a thing around the house. Why bother saying that when there must be millions of men who do nothing around the house ? These people must get their sixpenn'orth in just for the sake of it. If she'd not been interested she wouldn't have said anything would she ?

I agree with Luckygirl...there should be a limit to the amount of money one person can win. I hope he gives some of it to charity.

He seems very down to earth. He said 'Yes it bloody will change me.' Let's hope he doesn't get preyed upon. I don't know why they go public.

I think that these huge prizes are just silly - what in heaven's name would you do with that lot? Far better to have 71 people win a million.

Quite phoenix....my other mild grumble is the increase in lotteries that bang on about how taking part in them aids charity implying that that's the only reason anyone would buy a ticket. Yes, some of the money goes to a charity but I doubt that's the primary reason for buying a ticket, or if it is then they are a tad deluded. If you want to give money to charity....just do that....buying a lottery ticket will give a little but nowhere near the face price.
