Syn so good to hear he’s on the mend - post surgical pain is a clean pain that can be managed much better than infection pain. I bet he feels pooped but no longer ill. Now it’s even more important for you to look after yourself so that you’re able to cope when he comes home. Wishing you a good night! ?

Just to let you know that Himself looks so much better now that the infection has been removed. He was clearly being dragged down with that and the pain and although he still has pain currently it is apparently very different and is not permanent. The wound looks fresh and pink and seems to have started healing.
He was in the gym today doing upper body strengthening exercises which made him very tired so hopefully he will sleep well tonight.
Very tired so that is it for today although I have read through everything in the kitchen and am TOYA and sending (((hugs))) to all who need them.

Panache,we live right on the border of England and Wales.We are very lucky to have an amazing orthopaedic hospital right on our doorstep but the politics of the general hospitals are ridiculous.People on both sides of the border having to travel many miles to a hospital due to their postcode rather than being allowed to attend the nearest hospital?I really hope you and your husband get your appointments sorted out??

Soop your haircut is fab. A good haircut really does take years off you, although my hairdresser was slightly distracted on Wednesday and for the first time in a long time I can only give her eight out of ten.
I have had an afternoon of concentrated housework. I don’t intent to make a habit of it.
