Good morning everyone from a dreary, foggy Derbyshire. Although I think it may well clear.
Doggy is unsettled someone is using a drill next door hmm which he hates.
Glad the little one is back to nursery Marydoll.
Take care everyone.

My condolences Irenelily?

I have begun scrutinising any new shoots which are reappearing and enjoying all daffodils, tulips etc already in bloom. Itching to start pottering about in the garden soon
Enjoy your time with your DD

Late Goodmornng all, been running round doing jobs as have Governor meeting at school later. Bright and sun trying to come through in Thanet. Having a quick cuppa and looking through the window at last year’s tulips and daffodils that are making a lovely show. Must get out in the garden soon but am off to eldest daughter’s farm later in the week.
Thank you Mick and all of you, I do enjoy these morning posts - especially since dear DH passed away last year.

A very late and quick good morning from a very sunny and bright NE coast . Huge problem trying to post earlier .... almost gave up . School runs with the baby in tow this morning . She has been up twice during the night and is fresh as a daisy and full of trouble . I’m shattered and could happily go back to bed. I Was hoping to get some accounts done at home today but it’s highly unlikely . smile

Good Morning all , still, grey and damp here in Co Armagh at the moment , the Garden is dripping and there is an article on tv about conserving water !

Nelliemoser Tue 19-Mar-19 09:09:43

Good Morning All.
went to see the grandkids. 6yr old now at school the four yr old being awkward .
For those who might know Sheffield we went to the winter garden with the little one and when we got back to DDs I discovered that I had left the bag with my mobile in it along with the bag of lemons.

Thank you DD for that rescue and the staff for keeping it safe for me in the lovely winter gardens and museum .

glammagran thanks for the info on Ivan Joseph. I had to Google him and after much searching it appears that he played about 11 times for Saints in the 1980s, pre-professional days; it seems that it was on a casual basis.

Morning all from a fairly bright South Notts. Hope all is well with you all, especially those with hospital appointments. Should get a visit from my sister later this morning so I'd better vacuum. My dark cat leaves fur all over the curtains and they look terrible.

Good morning everyone; bright and sunny in Northampton.
Nothing much planned for today, so a bit of washing to do and some general tidying up.
Hope everyone's day goes well.

Thank you Marydoll. Hope it doesn’t take as long as I waited for the scan this time?

Your wee special one will be happy back at nursery with her friends. They are so résiliant at that age thankfully.

Good morning All x
Overcast, damp but not cold. Expecting gas-check any time and I'm always on pins until he's been and gone.

Comp. went hay-wire last night and email section went beserk churning out rubbish and not sending what it should as I have to order my prescription and kept refusing. Oh the joys of technology !
I'll have to try again.

Hope your day won't be as confusing as mine.

Mapleleaf Tue 19-Mar-19 08:22:50

Good morning, everyone.
There was a bit of sunshine an hour ago, but it's getting cloudier now. At least it's not windy, thank goodness.
Glad to hear your DD is improving, Mary.
A visit to The Range later for a few craft bits to finish a plant pot I've been decorating, then coffee with a friend if she's free.
Hope you managed that ride on Fred yesterday, Annie. Your GN friends were willing you on.
Whatever your plans for the day, enjoy them, folks. ?

harrigran Tue 19-Mar-19 08:19:02

Good morning from an overcast NE. Doorbell went at 7.50, meter reader for goodness sake.
Picking up GD1 from school this afternoon and then collecting GD2 from her after school club. They have such long days with before and after school clubs.
Fingers crossed for hospital appointments and best wishes to all those who are poorly.

Marydoll Tue 19-Mar-19 08:13:59

Kalu, good luck with the results today.

oldgaijin Tue 19-Mar-19 08:09:09

Good morning from dry Aberdeenshire.
The pheasants are shouting at each other and the mutt is going daft...he is trying to outdo them by killing squeaky pink pig. He has emptied his entire toy bag during the night and wanted to play ball about 3.00p.m. this morning.
Had lovely pics of the grands on their first day of Singapore school, first lesson was swimming, and they are beaming with happiness. Their mum and dad have both got local SIM cards so mystery solved why I couldn't get Facetime to work.
Have a great day everyone.

Kalu Tue 19-Mar-19 08:07:18

Good morning from rainy Glasgow.

Not a lot planned for today. GP at 9.30 for BP check and discuss change of meds. Also hoping MRI results are in and so the merry go round of appointments continue.

Hope all goes well for your DH Kitty
? Your GD has a better day Marydoll

NanKate Tue 19-Mar-19 08:07:15

Glad things are looking up a little for your DGD Mary ?

Mythbirtthedragon Tue 19-Mar-19 08:07:01

Good morning. Mizzling nicely in east London and all is a shade of grey. Quick trip to Westfield Stratford this morning to pick up an order then a bit of space before school pick up. Have a good day.

Brunette10 Tue 19-Mar-19 08:06:38

Good Morning to all from a dull Fife. It's dry at the moment though. Must do some shopping this morning and fill up cupboards. Will take a leisurely browse around shops on my own hopefully. DH thinks he is doing great coming with me BTH I find it a bit of hindrance. Hope everyone has a good Tuesday.

Marydoll Tue 19-Mar-19 08:03:52

Good morning all, from a wet Glasgow.

DH was going to do the first grass cut of the year, but it's too wet, so I shall ask him to clear the top of the linen cupboard.
It is full of bargains, I have purchased for the many birthday and Christmas gifts I need to give. Despite a stepladder, I can reach.

Thank you all for all your good wishes yesterday for my wee granddaughter's hospital visit. It was quite an adventure for her.
The doctors are pleased at the way we are following her asthma plan, but have recommended that she now sees her GP , if she needs extra puffs of inhaler for two days in a row. Trying to get a doctor's appointment will be another problem!

This is her first day back at nursery after being ill and we will pick her up at lunchtime.

I will be thinking of Mr Lester and you too Kitty. flowers

Have a good day all.

Greyduster Tue 19-Mar-19 08:01:55

Good morning Michael and all GNs. We have a sort of pearly grey haze in South Yorkshire this morning, which will do for a start! I have some garden pots to sort out today if it stays dry, but don’t know what else is on the agenda. Sorry your mouth is still sore Gaga, and I shall be thinking about you and Mr L today, Kitty??. Have a good day folks.

Gagagran Tue 19-Mar-19 07:55:06

Morning all. A cloudy, calm start to the day here on the south coast and not as chilly.

I was awake in the night again with my sore mouth. On count-down to Thursday appointment with the dentist now.

Ironing and faffing for me today.

Thinking of you kitty - hope the news is good.
