Usual Sunday for me salad lunch with sea bass today, then cycling on eurosport.
A quite day otherwise.

Hello Aggie hope you are well. We didn't make it sadly. Remembered we were meant to be booking stuff for Easter. Took sooo long. Flights to London, hotel in Pulborough, 2 hotels London, Slieve Donard ( to check on caravan). Phew! Who said it's easier online. All booked followed by a much needed glass of red!
As I said I hope you are well Aggie. Maybe we can organise a summer walk in our lovely Mountstewart. ?

Sunny and cold in Ireland today. We were going to go out for Sunday lunch but as it's St. Patricks day we think the restaurants will be too busy. Instead we will have a light lunch at home and cook a nice dinner tonight.

Good morning. Sunny and cloudy in east London with blasts of wind. Off to Southend to see DP's brother, hopefully will get a walk in and lunch out which means no meal prep for me today. Have a good day

Lovely and breezy and sunny in north east. I'm leaving hubby and son home alone as I lunch with the girls oh the freedom! Been holed up to many weekends with chest being bad hate winter embrace the fact it's first day of Spring Wednesday! Still cold though! Have a good one all!

Good morning everyone,
Another cold and blustery day here in South Yorkshire- getting tired of it now!
Went to our friends yesterday to watch the England v Scotland rugby match and then supper. What on earth happened to England?!! All I can say is, well done Scotland, whatever happened in your pep talk at half time, it worked. I'm disappointed in England...
Enjoy your lunch, Mick. I love fish, especially sea bass.
Might go out somewhere today, but not sure yet where.
Enjoy your day, whatever you are doing.

Good morning All x
Cold, windy, again, showery and just generally wintry out. The hailstones bashing against the glass sounded like someone throwing stones earlier on, it was heavy. The poor daffs have taken a battering this week as happens in March.

Must get the meat in the oven soon, remembered at the last minute to soak the peas before I went to bed.

Sun's out now but a bit watery looking.

Go easy everyone if you have " the weather ". Enjoy today.

A late good morning from the NE coast.

It’s a beautiful sunny morning but as Harri said, still very windy . Might have a walk later but otherwise nothing much planned .

Have a good Sunday everyone. x

Good Morning to all from a bright and breezy Fife. Good washing day which I shall take full advantage of. Hopefully get out for a walk today too. Marydoll hope your DGD had fun and is feeling bit better. Hope today is good for all.

A day at home with the newspapers for us.

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. It's very bright but the snow is still lying.
I had hoped to tackle the greenhouse today and perhaps walk to the library to confess I have lost a book, if the pavements have been cleared. I fell in the snow yesterday on slippery grass. No bone damage, just very wet.
Have a great day everyone.

Urmstongran Sun 17-Mar-19 08:30:14

Good morning everyone from a calm and sunny South Manchester. Boy did it rain yesterday and last night! Family time this afternoon - grandad will take his best boy to cricket practice and I will bob over to sit and play at play doh and ‘kitchens’ with the two year old granddaughter who was sick yesterday teatime.
Hope Sunday is kind to us all. x

Good morning all. Very bright and sunny in E. Northants this morning. Last night's charity quiz was a nightmare - the most obscure questions and it seemed to drag on forever! As usual I couldn't switch the brain off afterwards so very little sleep was had. Youngest son stayed over after watching rugby with friends, so will lunch with him today - when he surfaces! Have a pleasant day everyone.

Morning all from a sunny but chilly South Notts, Hope all is well with you all. Will go out for a drive, then shopping later.
Plan on salmon for lunch.
Hope the pain eases up gaga.

Morning Mick, morning All from a bright corner of Somerset. Delighted to see the wind has dropped. Faffing around today changing accessories in our sitting room before a roast around 6. Nothing major as we’re both struggling with energy. Hope you’re more comfortable soon gaga, might it be worth a phone call to your dentist tomorrow to see if you could go before Thursday? Hope Sunday is kind to everyone.

oldgaijin Sun 17-Mar-19 08:22:58

Good morning from a fairly bright but chilly Aberdeenshire.
What a nail biter of a Calcutta Cup match that was! The mutt and I nearly went for our wet walk at half time...thank goodness for laziness as that was a game to go down in history. Well done Scotland!
Think I shall experiment twith some lamb mince for tea...bobotie, spicy meatballs? Who knows?
My black eye is now turning yellow...not a good look. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning from a bright and blustery Leicestershire.

Trip down the M1 and M 25 today to pick up granddog. Hope the weather stays dry.

Sorry to hear you are still suffering gaga.

BlueSapphire Sun 17-Mar-19 08:04:31

Good morning all; bright and sunny in Northampton today, and I think that blessed wind has dropped, which bodes well for rugby this afternoon.
Just put a sausage casserole in the slow cooker for my lunch as going to watch Northampton Saints play Saracens this afternoon in the cup final, and then straight to a concert with DD afterwards, with no time to eat in between.
Couldn't watch the end of the England/Scotland match yesterday, just too nail biting! What on earth was in the Scotland team's half time drinks?!!
Hope everyone's day goes well.

Marydoll Sun 17-Mar-19 07:59:49

Good morning, *Mick and all from a cold and breezy Glasgow.

I woke up to find two wee beady eyes staring at me me. DGD stayed over and what a delight she has been, apart from the constant wriggling and waving arms.
I have just heard her to say to her Papa, " Papa, why is your hair grey and your eyebrows black? Dye it!2 grin

A restful day for us, once she leaves, but I suspect DD and her fiance will appear, as DGD is here. Of course, they will want fed!

Have a good Sunday all.

1inamillion Sun 17-Mar-19 07:51:52

Good Morning from a dry, sunny and blustery Welsh coast.
The rain and wind yesterday was something else and we had some water down the lounge wall which has a flat roof.

We are having take away fish and chips this afternoon, DH's choice, think he's fed up of being head cook and bottle washer. I love sea bass too Mick, joio.
We enjoyed the rugby yesterday, Well Done Wales - and the Scotland v England match, well you couldn't write the script could you.
Have a peaceful and enjoyable Sunday all.

mumofmadboys Sun 17-Mar-19 07:46:34

Good morning all! Still in bed in Cumbria. Third day of the Cumbrian bridge Congress for me today. Very wet here yesterday with lots of mini floods on the roads.

Gagagran Sun 17-Mar-19 07:41:18

Morning all. The sun is shining and the wind has eased but it's a bit parky here on the south coast.

Late up this morning after being up in the night with my throbbing jaw. Think the stitches need to come out but have to hang on until Thursday.

Hope the day is kind to us all.
