......of “Killing Eve.” My living room after a visit from my grandson. Look at the expression on that rag doll’s face.

gillybob Sat 16-Mar-19 17:47:12

It would look fab in my dining /family room ..... if ever you get sick of it DoraMarr ?

DoraMarr Sat 16-Mar-19 18:03:52

Thanks- I bought the rug in a little shop in Solihull (Liv.) It’s made in India from bamboo and silk, and is certified Fairtrade and made by rugmakers who are adults and get a living wage. It’s lovely and soft. I just love the rag doll’s expression.

We have a rag doll in our toy box called raggy aggie she had her head bandaged last week after a visit from my GGD.

Gonegirl Sat 16-Mar-19 18:07:37

That sounds gorgeous.

EllanVannin Sat 16-Mar-19 18:40:01

Love it ! smile

EllanVannin Sat 16-Mar-19 18:41:31

Looks like my living room except there are no children here.

Maybelle Sat 16-Mar-19 18:56:12

Looks like fun was had ! Can't wait for our GS to be big enough to make a mess, only 3 months old.

Jane10 Sat 16-Mar-19 19:33:55

I never mind the mess. I'm happy to clear up after they've gone and slump down with a nice cup of tea!

hulahoop Sat 16-Mar-19 19:45:06

Just tidied up after 2 of mine aren't we lucky ?To have visitors even if they make a mess ?

Jalima1108 Sat 16-Mar-19 19:48:36

grin

However, I see you had your tea cooked for you, or was that for the Reindeer and Eve?
We have meals served to us as well (a bit hard on the teeth as they're wooden like yours!).

Grannyben Sat 16-Mar-19 20:06:22

Another one here loving the rug

Jalima1108 Sat 16-Mar-19 20:11:54

I love the rug too!

Jane10 Sat 16-Mar-19 20:21:32

I leave the little 'artworks' I find on mirrors or steamed up windows. They always make me smile when I glimpse them!

lemongrove Sat 16-Mar-19 22:25:17

Dora you got away lightly! We look as if we have had a burglary in every room ( every weekend.) Takes ages to clear up, sometimes wonder if it’s worth doing, maybe leave it that way for a month instead grin

gillybob Sun 17-Mar-19 00:18:33

Mines the same lemon a bomb dropped in every single room from Monday through to Friday and a completely fruitless waste of time trying to clear up on a day to day basis .

DoraMarr Sun 17-Mar-19 11:08:30

Well, Villanelle is safely in her basket, separated from the rest of the soft toys, and everything is clean and tidy, apart from the fingerprints on the window. Until next week.

DanniRae Sun 17-Mar-19 15:08:32

Oh I can't wait for my living room to look like that.....my first grandchild is due at the end of May!

I LOVE the rug too.........I thought you were going to say that you made it grin

Jalima1108 Sun 17-Mar-19 19:36:30

Something to look forward too DannieRae - start collecting toys and books!

DD2 was supposed to clear up her toys the other day but it was a step too far, hiding her head and looking absolutely agonised at the thought. Her very kind older sister tidied it all up for her.
