Definitely something to tell her grandchildren. It was a quick shot when all the MPs were milling around during the vote and the TV presenter made a fleeting reference to her. She was wearing bright pink.
Yes, I admire TM, too, even though I don't think she has made a good job of the negotiations. Poor woman, having to address the H of C with a sore throat this evening. I suppose it would not have looked good if someone had just read it all out for her. She looked dreadful in Strasbourg last night, very thin and grey. Can't be doing her health any good at all.
Gonegirl my solution to the Irish border problem is that the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland remains a members of the European Union.
Come the next general election a helluva lot of MPs are going to lose their seats! The electorate are absolutely fed up with the lot of them. Brexiteers voting against the deal, remainders voting for it?!
She could, of course, now say 'Oh, sod the lot of you, I'm off on a nice relaxing holiday, sort it out for yourselves and see if you can do any better'.
I don't know how she can keep going. Poor soul. No need for snippy comments on that BTW. I'm just sorry for her as a woman in her 60s in a hellish no win situation.
