At last I got the heating and boiler checked for it’s annual service yesterday after all the mess ups! I can get outside today - yippee!!

Good morning everyone from a bright but chilly South Manchester. Meeting up with friends later today for a coffee then will pick up 6y old grandson from school - his mummy thinks it’ll be a nice surprise for him.

I do love this forum. It’s nice to hear from where we all live, what the weather is like and the plans for our days - tennis, fish pie, concerts, missing purses and day trips to York! Hope Friday is good to us all. x

Oh yes crikey your DD’s missing purse Marydoll what a worry . I hope she’s found it by now but if not I hope she’s stopped her cards etc. Could she have put it down in a shop ? Stating the obvious I know but it’s always a Good idea to retrace steps since when you last had it in hand . Hope it has turned up anyway . x

A late good morning from a very grey sky Glasgow ...... we artived here last night for the C2C festival so a very busy weekend ahead . Some of you may recall my DH had a stroke in this very place exactly a year ago this weekend . Fingers crossed for a much better time this year .

So sorry to hear you have had bad news kitty and Gaga I had 2 wisdom teeth taken out in hospital a couple of years ago . Worrying about it was worse than the procedure and i didn’t feel a thing . You have to be a bit careful eating for a few days but that was all . Wishing it to be all

Good morning from C. Durham. Dancing day for me today although I won't have my poorly GD ballerina to take dancing later today. It's not often she's sick as she's a tough little thing so will pop in to see her with a little treat later.
The funeral of a friend's husband yesterday was such a lovely celebration of his life. He was only 67 and had fought cancer for two years. It did make me stop and think about others who have recently died and how their lives seem to have been cut short too soon. I feel more thankful for what I still have. Life is a gift to treasure.

Good morning everyone from a bright and sunny Essex by the sea. Not much on the agenda today, W*****se to buy fish for dinner and pick up some dry cleaning.
Day five of the great bathroom refit, lots of tiling done yesterday and lots of dust everywhere. Our whole flat will need a spring clean when it's all finished.

Greetings from a bright'ish Aberdeenshire...there's lots of cloud but there is sun on the horizon.
Nothing planned for today as daughter and dog are here after a 600 mile journey yesterday, so are letting them both sleep.
Shall have to clear a space later for all the house plants I have inherited, ditto the contents of her store cupboard etc..
