Raining this morning in chelmsford. I’m invigilating at the high school this morning, this afternoon I’m taking myself to the cinema to watch The aftermath. I like days out on my own. I’m in the cinema now waiting for it to start and raining again this afternoon.

A late good morning from a dreary County Durham. An early visit from my mobile hairdresser and I feel ready to face the world again.
A trip to a Pilates class soon and then a thirty minute treadmill run. I just concentrate on time now rather than trying to reach that target of 5k. If one day it happens, well great. I may still attempt a park run this summer and if I need to walk some of it, so be it.I

Morning all from a very wet South Notts. Pottering today, so glad I mowed the lawn yesterday afternoon. It would have become impossible if I'd left it much longer.
Noticed some greenfly on the roses but also a couple of ladybirds so I didn't spray. They'll have a good feed but I rather feel that supply may exceed demand!

Good morning, sounds like east London is the same as most places, damp and dull but mild. It's my turn to miss tennis this morning but have lively GD to keep me moving; her chicken pox has been a mild dose so need to think of something to wear off her energy. Have a good day; I have been summoned.

Good morning everyone from a dry and mild South Manchester. Makes a change for us not to have the rain! Yorkshire side of the Pennines must be getting it instead of us.

Book club tonight. We are in the back room of a new wine bar - nice! I haven’t read all of the book it’s a bit boring - ‘Heartburn’ by Nora Ephron written in 1980 and I keep picking it up and only wanting to read a few pages. Oh dear.

I wish I could get cracking in the mornings like I used to do I hate this sluggishness that has descended on me. My mind is bright enough but the rest of me doesn't want to move.
I thinks it's the thought that I have to venture out to Asda that does it, but I must if I want to eat !

Brilliant wasn't it Harris27 ? My son his two younger children (11 and 9) have Sunderland season tickets so I like to keep up with their results. Not sure if he will be able to make the long trip to Wembley though .

It’s very grey, damp and miserable here in South Yorkshire today.
Waiting in for the gas engineer this morning who was a no show yesterday. At least they let me know, but it still meant I was stuck indoors for a good part of the day. I hope they turn up today or I won’t be a happy bunny!

Good morning all. Looking grey in East Northants. Came fourth in the pub quiz last night - we're slipping! Having a big cleanup at granddaughters today before her house move. I do come in useful sometimes! Mick, I'm sure you will love the stage show - so much better than the film I thought. Hope it's a pleasant day for everyone!

A very wet and windy evening and overnight here on S. Glam coast, quieter now though.
Had a cuppa and will tackle the crossword shortly.

Good Morning from a wet and windy Fife. Still feeling yuk, coughed half the night. Will have another day in bed. That’s something I find difficult to do but want to feel better. Terrible weather everywhere for everyone. Despite that hope today is good to all.
