Good Morning Everyone,
The brief spring/summer has gone , its grey and its been raining here in Brackley this morning.
Today usual shop etc, then lunchtime TV with cycle racing on.
Hope everybody as a pleasant day.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs on St David’s Day. It is grey and cold here in South Yorkshire, and my own resident Welshman is full of snot and woe! I feel I may soon follow. Nothing much going on here today apart from picking up a book from the library. My fingers are crossed for you Gilly - an anxious time. Have a good day folks.

Good morning all. So foggy here, can't see across to the hills (and can still smell smoke from the moorland fires).
Have a nice day everyone.

Good Morning from a sunny Co Armagh , not that the sun is going to last ! Eldest and friends are due to visit for the weekend and that should liven things up

Good morning all from a dreich and grey Aberdeenshire and a special greeting to all Welsh grans on St. David's day.
What a joy to wake up in a warm house and am looking forward to having a hot shower...the Scottish gas man spent seven hours yesterday mending a sick boiler.
Another clearing out day, I think...am trying to make space for all the stuff that my daughter is bringing up before she moves abroad later this month.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning everyone.
It's grey and cool here in South Yorkshire but still dry for the moment.
Got a few chores to do today.
Going to an 80th birthday party tonight, so will dust down my glad rags! ?
Hope you all have a nice day.

You paint a pretty picture Grey - I do hope you manage to fight it off.
Very fond of tea loaf - I think I might make one too. Lazy start to today but when I am up (blush) I intended to run round like a blue a***d fly!
A pinch and a punch for the first of the month and no returns!

Morning all from a damp South Notts. Hope all is well. Had a good quilters' meeting last night. One of our ladies was offloading some of her supplies and I got some lovely old embroidery transfers - I was thrilled to find one of a crinoline lady! A small pleasure perhaps but a pleasure nonetheless.

Good morning All x White Rabbits.

Dull damp but not cold on this St David's Day, which would have been my late SiL's birthday.

Some tidying up and a bit of ironing to do, I do like my trousers with creases where they should be smile Should also sort out more clothes to bag up ready for the next collection.

Hope everyone's day goes well.

Good luck Annie, you can do it.

Fingers crossed Gilly let us know how your GD gets on. It is very different from my day. There should be no doubt about your GD getting into the same school as her older sister!

Mythbirtthedragon Fri 01-Mar-19 11:00:49

Good morning. Dull but brightening in east London. Very soggy in the garden when I fed the birds earlier. Car tyre to sort out - not sure if it's lack of air or a new tyre job - which may mean my 60+ Oyster card will be put to use today as this is a collection day for GD and I've got tennis at 8pm. Have a good day.

Good evening from Sydney.

1st day of Autumn here in Australia, however I believe we are in for another heatwave before we start to get the cooler weather!

Had a quiet day today to recharge my batteries before a busy weekend.

Marydoll enjoy your meetup in Edinburgh. Wish I could join you all. Have a great day.

Rabbits? White Rabbits? Pinch and a punch for the first of the month is what I grew up with, and said to DH at dawn this morning adding And no returns. But do you know he actually said Same to you after that. Really. The correct response would be a Pinch and a kick for being so quick, and then I could have said a Punch in the eye for being so sly. And there we would have stuck because I can’t remember any more. We’ll have to have a rehearsal next time.
Waiting for March to come in like a lion, but just sodden and grey. Also waiting for overdue grocery delivery hence time to dawdle on Gransnet.

MaryDoll
I’ve just private messaged you about the magic puzzle box.
Hope it helps you.

Just popping back in to say that my DDiL just phoned to tell me that my DGD has made it into the secondary school with her older sister.

To say I am relieved is an understatement. Infact I’m ecstatic ! And grin grinning like an idiot !

Not sure I could have faced the appeals process yet again....

Thank you all for your best wishes. x

Good news, gillybob. You must be so relieved. It’s a silly system that splits up siblings, isn’t it?
