IN THE BIN

The driver of the recycling lorry who just blocked me in. I live in a narrow lane so reversed into a driveway to allow the lorry to pass and I could then continue up the lane to my house The driver deliberately stopped in front of my car trapping me on the drive whilst he and a colleague collected recycling from several houses - if he had stopped just a couple of feet further on I would have been able to get out angry

People who refer to their animal as a "fur baby" how naff is that.

Jane10 Wed 27-Feb-19 15:21:16

Juliette shock!

Juliette Wed 27-Feb-19 15:20:04

The mother of the child, on her phone, whilst said child decapitated a glorious clump of daffodils.
I interrupted her conversation to point out the toddler vandalism. Her response.....F* off yer miserable old cow I pay me poll tax. He can do what he likes I’ve paid for them flowers.
Hope you can find a big enough bin for her and her ilk.

Sooooo much to agree on! If only us Grans ruled the world. Sigh.

KatyK Wed 27-Feb-19 14:51:49

People who spit in the street (or anywhere else). It's disgusting.

B9exchange Wed 27-Feb-19 14:50:28

I'd lke to bin all NHS quangos, and any public servant earning more than £200,000 a year, think how many operations and treatments that would fund!

Teetime Wed 27-Feb-19 14:14:47

Chewing gum

Wheniwasyourage Wed 27-Feb-19 14:06:00

Drivers who don't indicate when I am waiting to cross the road. OK, I may be "just" a pedestrian, but I still need to know if you are going in front of me or the other way, and I am probably in just as much of a hurry as you! angry

Litter louts.

People, whether politicians on radio or TV or workers in Complaints Departments (yes, Abellio, I'm looking at you) who don't answer the question asked, but the one they wish had been asked.

Me, for not keeping things tidy as I go along and then having to rush around in a frenzy of tidying when visitors are expected. blush

People who stop at the top or bottom of escalators to have a chat with their friends

Oh crikey yes mapleleaf really dangerous when you are coming down the travelator (like in my local Asda) with a huge trolley full of shopping. There are several occasions when I have had to shout to get them to move . You can't exactly stop at the bottom. Then they look at you as though you are the idiot !

EllanVannin Wed 27-Feb-19 13:37:53

That's all you hear in Australia, Jane10, along with " hey, how ya goin' " as a greeting.

Jane10 Wed 27-Feb-19 12:45:03

People who reply, 'Good' when you ask them how they are!

Gonegirl Wed 27-Feb-19 12:28:33

The lazy scumbag of an Amazon driver who says he left my package yesterday in the garden. He didn't. Grrr.

littleflo Wed 27-Feb-19 12:27:31

Oh yes to bare flesh. Revolting sweaty bodies urgh.

Mapleleaf Wed 27-Feb-19 10:55:04

Oh, another .. builders bums!
(I'm sure I'll be back with more)

Jane10 Wed 27-Feb-19 10:53:36

Ooh yes Gillybob - road work hold ups with no actual work going on.
People who park on pavements forcing pedestrians on to the road.
Tailgaters,
I could go on.

Mapleleaf Wed 27-Feb-19 10:53:18

People who stop at the top or bottom of escalators to have a chat with their friends!!angry

Guineagirl Wed 27-Feb-19 10:32:58

Self entitled neighbours

sunseeker Wed 27-Feb-19 10:22:14

Grandma70 - oh how I agree with you. I have a friend who is continually late - usually 15 to 20 minutes and she lives closer to our meeting place than I do.

People who don't close my gate - it is there for a reason!

People who park on double yellow lines but think it is OK because they have their hazard lights flashing

A local radio presenter who has the most irritating voice I have ever heard!

Self assembly furniture - I am not a carpenter and if I pay several hundred pounds for something I don't see why I should have to build it myself

I think I had better stop - I can feel my blood pressure rising!

henetha Wed 27-Feb-19 10:20:15

The way men's shirts are still often sold, with masses of uncessary packaging . Why not just put them on hangars like ladies blouses?

EllanVannin Wed 27-Feb-19 10:07:16

The displays of bare pregnant bellies in summer.
Men's bare beer bellies hanging over their trousers/shorts.

Incompetency !

Many more as I have a " hidden" low tolerance of many things .

Grandma70s Wed 27-Feb-19 10:01:17

People who think it’s acceptable not to be punctual.

Inverted snobbery.

KatyK Wed 27-Feb-19 09:45:32

Drivers who don't I dictate. So called friends who suddenly stop speaking to you for no apparent reason. (It's just happened to us) Grrr

Gonegirl Wed 27-Feb-19 09:38:09

They've done that 'squeeze here and push down and turn thing' on the little Baby Bio bottles now. Heck of a job to get it open. Surely it's mostly us old 'uns that have the houseplants, and how difficult is it to keep a tiny bottle like that out of reach of toddlers?!

Bellanonna Wed 27-Feb-19 09:30:32

All TV ads, especially those about electric toothbrushes and leaking bladders
