Being called love by a shop assistant who is 30 years younger than me !!

b1zz1e, do what I do when approached by people on a pavement expecting me to step into the road. I stop still in front of them, causing no end of consternation.

I would like to bin my dentist and all her receptionists who have suddenly started talking like kindergarten teachers. I am not a 3 year old and I am not old enough to be spoken to like one.

Men who don’t listen and claim a few days later that they haven’t been told.

Liars and self obsessed people.

Benje Thu 28-Feb-19 14:01:45

Bin Manchester traffic fed up with 1.5 he commute for 6 mile journey

KatyK Thu 28-Feb-19 13:48:49

'Touchy' people. For instance people who take offence when you say something perfectly innocent to them.

NannyG123 Thu 28-Feb-19 13:48:14

People who push in whilst I queue patiently.

DanniRae Thu 28-Feb-19 13:45:08

People who say "haitch" instead of "aitch".
People out with children and babies who ignore them because they are on their mobiles.
People who only want to talk about themselves and their lives and when you try to add something about your life they ignore everything you have said and continue their monologue.
I am sure, like other GNers I will be back with more!

All the needless hugging that goes on in the media! I'm not averse to giving/receiving hugs to or from family and some friends, but you constantly see people on TV hugging people on first meeting. It takes ages eg on chat shows for all to greet each other in this way. Not required. Maybe it's me.

Round Pills OOOOOO which slip out of your hand and roll under a cupboard or down the sink or are magnetically attracted to the one dirty/greasy/wet spot on the counter top.

Why, oh why can all pills not be produced lozenge shaped - just as easy to swallow as round ones and which, if they leap out of the bubble pack, lie still where they fall.

Issues
Since when did problems become 'issues'?? ?

grannybuy Thu 28-Feb-19 12:56:37

Coat hangers in shops ( my reactions must be on several shops' cctv cameras )

Drivers who are not ready to turn left when the traffic light changes to green!

People who are poised to barge into lifts when they stop, apparently unaware that there might well be people coming out!

Newyorker6 Thu 28-Feb-19 12:52:37

People who call me "my lovely"!!

Lilyflower Thu 28-Feb-19 12:41:28

Virtue signallers and the sanctimonious generally. Into the skip with them all. I am sick of listening to their inverted boasting when I know they are urging others to do and be what they are not prepared to do themselves.

b1zzle Thu 28-Feb-19 12:34:46

People who walk down a busy high street with their dogs on an extending lead. One day I'll use it as a skipping rope. And people who walk in groups of three or four very slowly in the same high street so that you have to step into the road to get past them!

Legs55 Thu 28-Feb-19 12:21:48

Cars with no indicators, it helps me to know where you're intending to go

Drivers who don't "say thank you" when I've stopped to let them through

Additionally people who don't say "thank you" when I've held a door open

Bad manners in general

You guys, you can call me love I will definitely call you love, blame my Yorkshire upbringing my lovely not too keen on my lover I'm not but will tolerate as I do when called hun, comes from living in the West Country, I really like my lovelysmile

Pregnant women with bare bellies & men with beer bellies - yuk too much flesh

Sure I can think of a few moregrin

dogsmother Thu 28-Feb-19 12:16:12

Intolerance!

Saggi Thu 28-Feb-19 12:06:54

Car drivers who open their doors without look8ng to see if me ( a cyclist) is riding past at that moment. I can’t always give them the ‘ wide berth’ they expect of me. What hasn’t the ‘Dutch open’ been instigated in Britain yet.

1inamillion Thu 28-Feb-19 12:05:17

Amagran ?
DH Selective hearing - especially behind a newspaper.

fluttERBY123 Thu 28-Feb-19 12:01:50

Everything mobile that has a screen. Would solve most of the cyber bullying and knife crime.

Mapleleaf Thu 28-Feb-19 12:00:11

That's alright, gillybob. It wouldn't do for us all to be the same. grin

Lorelei Thu 28-Feb-19 11:58:52

British or European people that pick up terrible American habits, like high-fiving each other for every minor achievement. Rap music can also go in the bin.

gillybob Thu 28-Feb-19 11:55:58

I don't mind "you guys" (just saying)

Ha ha Gillybob you remind me of my mother who used to do that. I tried it with s fizzy drink and - you've guessed it, it went everywhere

Yes me too Milly grin

Neti Thu 28-Feb-19 11:53:50

Use of business language in every day conversations:

Issue,
Going forwards,
Reaching out,
Etc.

Drives me up the wall

Mapleleaf Thu 28-Feb-19 11:49:22

I must agree I hate the phrase "you guys" , commonly expressed in restaurants. I feel sorely tempted to reply "We're not flippin' effigies and we don't wish to be burned on top of a bonfire, thank you very much". I fear that response might be lost on them, though! ??

BRedhead59 Thu 28-Feb-19 11:43:39

dog owners who pick up the poo and then leave the bag of poo secreted somewhere.

nipsmum Thu 28-Feb-19 11:43:15

Definitely litter louts and people who can't, won't or refuse to pick up their dogs poo. They should be hung drawn and quartered. The bin is too good for them.
