My pink gin has gone down like water on sand!

My favourite gin is Scottish. It’s ‘Hendricks’ over ice with slices of cucumber and Fever Tree tonic. Hits the spot every time !

I'm enjoying a pink gin at the moment. G&T is my drink of choice.
I used to love white wine, but unfortunately, it now gives me awful acid reflux ??

Will definitely look at the “tree” tonic in Aldi’s ??

May I recommend Aldi's version of fevertree tonics?
A similar tree logo but called Ridge Valley.
Think I might buy a bottle of tio pepe for Australia's sake!

I do enjoy a nice cold G & T though, love elderflower tonic but can't get it here, my stepdaughter brought some over for me earlier this year, I have been eking it out and definitely not sharing. I like Baileys too but not with ice.

Mr P will often ask me if I would like a glass of "something restorative"? which strictly speaking should refer to champagne, but in this house, means Lidl Cava, which at under £5 a bottle, is more suited to our budget!

Yesterday, whilst watching the rugby, a nice chilled glass of dry cider went down very well.

I'm just going to make a nice, strong cup of tea!!

I’m currently chilling some elderflower tonic that I think will go nicely with the violet gin my lovely sister gave me. I’ve a busy day today though, so I’m saving it till I settle down for Call the Midwife and Baptiste! Cheers all, enjoy the sunshine!

After a delicious roast lunch we are sitting with a large glass
Of chilled white wine, our friends have now gone, the kitchen is total chaos, but we are relaxed and happy.
The sun is shining, the birds are singing and all is right with the world.? Cheers to all, on this beautiful day.

We have been gardening our socks off again today and DH disappeared inside and brought us both out a glass of ice cold Guinness. Wow, it hit the spot, sitting on the grass amid all the detritus with the sun warm on our faces!

Tanqueray 10 with Sh.......s tonic and a slice if lemon. No ice. Dilutes it too much.
DH is very generous with his measures I might add!

Black Cow Vodka and fevertree tonic or a nice cold glass of pink champagne ( a good prosecco will suffice)
