Good Morning Everyone,
Its a sort twilight morning this morning in brackley , dry but maybe a chill in the air.
The Chinese soup dish saga, I went into Sainsburys in Bicester and got a medium sized nibble dish not dissimilar to the soup bowl.
Tried it out last night it was great , the soup seem to taste better as well.

Good morning All. Or should I say good afternoon. I do not know where the morning went...spent 1hr on phone to daughter then spent 2 hrs trying to reinstall my Alexa..no joy there ...managed to get the washing going other than that it’s a beautiful day just wish I could get out...

Late good morning to all. Just wanted to comment re soup bowl. Went to a tea room and had soup and Sandwich yesterday. It was served in like a large China cup with two side handles. Obviously an old China set all their crockery was China old style. I would love a couple of these soup bowls though will have to scour the antique shops.

Good Morning everyone, its still a wee bit misty here by The Mersey but lifting slowly we have had the foghorns sounding on the River since early morning hopefully the sun will break through later on.

Good morning, GNS, from a stunningly sunny, bright, and beautiful morning in the Morecambe Bay area. This afternoon DH and I are going to friends, for tea. I wonder whether we'll be sitting out in the garden - it's that warm...

Mapleleaf Sun 24-Feb-19 11:00:56

I like Potteric Carr, Greyduster. It's been a while since we went there. Today, we were thinking of going to the new RSPB site near Leeds, but the mist has come rolling back in since I posted, so I don't think we would see very much. I think we'll have to postpone the idea until a brighter day, unfortunately. Pity, as I was looking forward to it. sad

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders where it's much colder here today.
I have nothing exciting planned but if I get the housework done I may tackle the sewing up of my knitting. The least favourite part.

Mythbirtthedragon Sun 24-Feb-19 09:59:29

Good morning, sunny and mild again in east London. We'll be going for a walk and picking GD up later to take her back home. Saw 'The Favourite' last night; not too sure what to make of it... Have a good day.

A strange thick fog has just rolled into St.Andrews , at first I thought it was smoke ! It was much nicer earlier - I'd planned to get my washing out on the line ! Hello clothes horse !

EllanVannin Sun 24-Feb-19 09:21:37

Good morning All x
Thick fog in parts here I could hear the foghorns on the river when I woke up earlier and there isn't even a breeze to take it away, but however it should evaporate when the sun comes out.
A heavy dew too so it's damp underfoot on the grass.

Not an awful lot to do today apart from my roast later. I should be doing some more clothes sorting but can't muster up the energy yet.

Take care on your travels if it's foggy. Enjoy your day everyone.

Good morning from the NE coast.

After almost a week of childcare I’m back to “that place” tomorrow . Wishing it was Friday .

This plane or plain debate seems to have had mumsnetters at this as well.

MawBroon is good at grammar.

My former lovely geography teacher Mr Kneeshaw would have known. Back in the 1960s.

Greyduster Sun 24-Feb-19 08:53:59

Potteric Carr, Maple? We keep promising ourselves another visit.

Mapleleaf Sun 24-Feb-19 08:50:46

Good morning,
It looks as if we are going to have another beautiful day today, as the mist is clearing and the sun is trying to break through.
Had a lovely afternoon yesterday with my sister and BiL. Hadn’t seen them for a while, so had an enjoyable few hours catching up.
DH and I might go bird watching later, but it’s not a definite yet.
Glad you found a proper bowl for your Chinese soup, Mick.
Hope everyone enjoys a pleasant Sunday. ?

harrigran Sun 24-Feb-19 08:49:53

Good morning from a mild, bright NE.
Another quiet day for us, I think the GC are at the cinema today.

Greyduster Sun 24-Feb-19 08:49:26

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Sun burning off the slight mist in South Yorkshire this morning. I am sneezing for England. We are giving junior football a miss this morning - the away ground is too much of a trek - and I am having a garden day. Chicken curry for lunch. Happy Sunday folks!

Willow10 Sun 24-Feb-19 08:49:14

Good morning all from a bright, sunny E.Northants. Not a cloud in the sky and the birds are coughing ?. I love to see the runners, cyclists and horses passing by on Sunday mornings. Wish I was as energetic! May cut the lawn today, have a bit of sewing to do and nothing much else. Enjoy a good day everyone.

Gettingitrightoneday Sun 24-Feb-19 08:47:26

Good Morning all. I cannot see the end of our Close this morning.
It is very foggy.
The cold air dribbles down hill to the Cheshire plane from the Potteries. It happens quite often at this time of year.
Or we get the sun and it is foggy in the Potteries.

I have Rhododendrons to plant.

I think the Cheshire plane is the plane and not the PLAIN
Pedants arise and criticise.
