Good morning all from a dry Aberdeenshire. The sky is streaked with gold and it's quite mild.
Last night's Granite Noir Scottish crime writer's weekend event was fantastic... a conversation with Abir Mukherjee. No one knew who the special interviewee was to be, and to the stage came Nichols Sturgeon! To be fair, she was excellent and poked a few political jokes at herself.
Nothing planned for today so shall do a few sewing jobs while watching the rugby. Let's hope Scotland can beat the French.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning Michael and all GNs. A very misty cool start in South Yorkshire. I think we did a bit too much in the garden yesterday! Too old to be dragging b****y great rocks around and digging out roots. Today I shall confine myself to the house, which is begging for my attention!! Glad Mr L gets to come home today, Kitty. Home’s best! Have a good day folks!

Good morning from a mild NE.
A quiet day for us with the newspapers, my muscles and joints are too sore for exercise today.
Hope you get DH home today kitty.

Good Morning. A lot clearer here on South Welsh coast compared to yesterday where the fog lingered until lunchtime.
Enroute to hospital saw daffodils and primroses, how Springlike.

Dragonfly, enjoy the theatre.
Kitty, hope Mr Lester is feeling better.
Gettingitrightontheday, try a pillow under your knees to relieve the pressure when lying flat and between knees on your side.
Going to watch the rugby later.

Morning all, my bit of North Leicestershire is a bit misty but not too bad.

Thamk you nina. I'm hoping to pick him up today. He was disappointed not to come home yesterday but there seems to have been a little bit of miscommunication going on.

gaga, that is a huge amount of work.

Enjoy the theatre dragonfly.

Good Morning All. I did not get a good nights sleep and I am feeling rough.

My back is complaining because I have been lying flat all night and the bad bony bits are now hurting . It is so difficult to get a good nights sleep.
Sorry for having a moan.

Gagagran I had a filling fall out last night. I will be off to get a temporary filling kit when the shops open. Its worth trying.
My morning cup of tea will help my mood.

Good morning everyone.

Thick fog again in Kent. Don't envy DD who went to work at 6.30 am in this. She will be home at 10.30 and DH will cook brunch.
The rest of the day I will be pottering in doors and DH in the garage.
Have a good day all.

Hope Mr Lester is ok post op.

Good Morning from a clear dry Leicestershire.

Theatre visit this evening.

Good Morning Mick and everybody

It's a misty start again here on the south coast but forecast to clear by 10am.

My visit to the new dentist yesterday has left me facing a surgical extraction, one other extraction, 2 fillings and a crown. All this despite regular 6-monthly check ups at the previous dentist - with whom I had gradually lost confidence. Now I know I was right to do so. Not looking forward to the next few weeks but at least I should have a pain-free mouth again!

Hope the day is kind to us all.

Good Morning Everyone,
Up early as usual, Its dark but no sign of any fog this morning, brackley.
My day today will be into Bicester via Buckingham on the bus links.
Usual Coffee stops in Bicester ,then back in Buckingham , being a Saturday will have a light lunch , then later get a Chinese take away.
Yesterday I managed to buy a soup spoon Chinese porcelain type, but unable to get a soup bowl in the same mode.
I like two types of Chinese soup, but think the spoons and bowl make it more authentic when eating at home.
