Duh! Pennines not pennies! I must learn to slow down & proof read first.

Good morning everyone from south Manchester. The pennies are visible under a wash of apricot coloured sky - it’s so beautiful. Meeting a friend for coffee and cake at noon then I have a pedicure booked for this afternoon. This retirement malarkey has it’s good points!

I know what you mean NateKate - older to be parents mean some of us lot are older to be grandparents! Good luck at the dentist Gagagran sounds like you’ve done the best thing finding a new one. Your day sounds great Mick. And yours NannyJan - a vintage cafe sounds wonderful so long as the cakes aren’t! (Vintage I mean)

Good Morning from a very misty Black Country, but I think once the mist has dissipated it will be a lovely day like yesterday.

I am off to the gym shortly. Then back to shower and drive over to pick up Mum, Then we are meeting DS, DIL and DGD's at a 1940's Vintage Café for lunch near Stafford. The café is apparently run by DIL's friend.

Best wishes to those of you with hospital/doctors appointments today flowers

Good morning everyone! It's a misty start here on the south coast but definitely mild. Hopefully the sun will be out later.

I have a hair appointment this morning and the dentist this afternoon. I am trying a new dentist as I have lost all confidence in the one who has made such a mess of one of my crowns. I need to get it sorted as it is causing me a lot of discomfort.

The new washing machine arrived and was safely installed yesterday so we are now have several loads of laundry lined up. All good so far!

Hope the day is kind to us all.

Morning Mick and All.

Thick mist in South Bucks today. We then set off for Sussex to DS and DGSs till Mon.

I do feel for you Greyduster the word gruelling is one we recognise with our two. It’s full on from the moment we arrive. The eldest 8 usually says to me your in goal Nan (indoor net) and I am saying can I get a cuppa first. The youngest 6 latches onto DH and wants him to help construct some skyscraper type model. We love being with them and being so much part of their lives, if only we were 10 years younger.

Enjoy your fish and chips Mick.

Good morning all. Mist is shrouding the church steeple in E.Northants this morning. Had a lovely if exhausting adventure day and picnic with great grandchildren yesterday. But at least it meant I slept well last night! A bit of shopping to do today and maybe I'll get stuck into my puzzle too Sar53. Hope Friday is good to everyone.

Good morning everyone from a very foggy Essex by the sea. I'm not having the best of nights at the moment hence the early rising.
We have an appointment at 9 to sign our new wills at the solicitors then DH will go off to work.
I will spend a few hours doing a small admin job I do for a friend then I think I'll get stuck into the new puzzle I started yesterday.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A lovely sunrise on one side of the house and the moon still shining on the other. We had a gruelling but enjoyable day with The Boy yesterday, so I am feeling rather fragile today. He does not believe in standing still, sitting down or proceeding slowly. We are off to see a fly past this morning if we can find a good vantage point. Enjoy your fish and chips, Mick! Have a good day, all.
