The broken shoulder and I are having problems getting dressed and I urgently need a couple of these bras! Where can I buy these on the high street? Internet is full of choice but I would really like to get them today so I can dress myself and not shout for dh when I hit a snag! .

I have not been able to do up a bra at the back since I broke my elbow when I was 19. I buy ordinary bras, do them up at the front then twizzle them round.

Good luck with that shoulder - hope it mends soon.

Twizzling is a long distant memory when there was less of me to go round - in all senses of the word! Just don’t like being dependent on dh ..... a girl has her pride!

I thought everyone fastened their bras at the front and then twisted them round to the back.

I climb into my bra. From the feet up. Works for me.

Marks and Spencer have them.

Ggonegirl, you must have super slim hips! Lucky you!

There is a lot of dragging and wriggling involved Nandalot, but I get there.

When I had an operation on my shoulder a few years ago, like you, I thought I needed a front fastening bra and bought one. What I hadn't thought about was that you need two hands to pull the front fastenings together. I couldn't do it one handed at all. I went without a bra for a week or so then got a pull-on one. It took a bit of squirming to get into it and it was difficult to hitch it into place. It didn't do much for me either but was better than going without.

I hope your shoulder heals quickly.

I had/have problem with Bras , but front fastening ones are not easier to do up , I now fasten mine and get it over my head , I realise you can't do that , just get help for a few weeks

I've never done that

Perhaps just a very soft bra for the time being Katek because however you fasten it, front back or even pulling it on, it's going to be difficult.
There is probably more choice on the internet as long as you get the size right.
