Forgot to say 'enjoy tonight mick. Isn't you brother young!!

kittylester Sat 16-Feb-19 08:12:07

That's a bit extreme maw!!
Good morning from a bright North Leicestershire where the sun is shining through the clouds.

Admin stuff today for me and a stiff (ish) email to one of my brothers in law telling him that he is a wimp - but nicely, of course. grin

Turkish takeaway tonight!!

Can I make a plea for posters to say where they are saying 'Good morning'. I love knowing where we all are.

Good morning to all; bit grey in Northampton this morning, but a bit of sun is promised. Hope so as I'm off to the rugby this afternoon.

Hope you have a nice weekend with your family Mick. I shall be seeing DD and DSil as they have the seats next to me at rugby.

Must get a hotpot in the slow cooker before I go, it's lovely to come back to after an afternoon at a match.

Hope the day goes well for everyone.

Good morning all on a bit of a damp and dull morning.
My first weekend in weeks without commitments and there’s no rugby ????
Might have to contemplate the ironing ??
Wishing you all a pleasant day.

Good morning Mick and all, it's a mild 9 degrees here in Glasgow.

A bit wiped out this morning after my very enjoyable Glasgow meet up yesterday. The route was all uphill and I was exhausted by the climb, my cough sounded like a dog ?barking.. However, it was all worth it. What lovely ladies you were. flowers
If you need cheering up, glance at the Anyone in Glasgow thread, you will be able to read of the incident , which resulted in me ending up in the Gents at Central Staion. blush
Enjoy your meal tonight, Mick

I'm going to a wedding today, so I must go and titivate myself. My son, DIL and wee grandaughter are also going, son is best man and DGD is the flower girl. I suspect I may be child minding, as mum and dad let their hair down.
The sun is meant to shime today, as I hope it will for all, no matter where you are.
Happy Saturday.

Good Morning to all and to those who follow. It's dull but dry and cold here in Fife at the moment. We have no specific plans for today as yet but no doubt we will end up doing something. May get out for a walk if not too cold. Had a lovely birthday yesterday but that's it all over for another year. Everyone seems busy today so enjoy.

Oh yes, nankate, I’m the one advising, otherwise known as offering ‘helpful’ suggestions that will be ignored until other approaches are found, by trial and error, to be inadequate when someone else will claim my ideas as a miracle solution. Well, that’s my take on the process. I suspect Mr C’s view will be very different grin. Wish us luck.

Good evening to all from a cooler Sydney.

Today I took my friend out for coffee and some retail therapy. She was told by her oncologist that her cancer has spread so we are making the most of our time while she is still well enough??

Tonight my husband is sitting in front of the tv watching the super rugby which started again this weekend, and I am in the bedroom watching my programs uninterrupted....bliss ?

Take care everyone

Good Morning all. I have been tapping away on my tablet for about half an hour without my glasses on and my eyedrops in. No wonder I cant see what I am doing.

The font size on this tablet seems to get smaller by the day.
Very grey skies here in Cheshire . I am hoping for better.

Morning all.
Feeling more human this morning, managed to wash my hair at the kitchen sink yesterday with the help of an NHS perching stool. Oh the simple pleasures ( foot in plaster)
Have a lovely meal with your family Mick.
Wish everyone on this thread a pleasant day, joio.

Morning all, it’s overcast and looks like it may drizzle in West London. No plans today although my youngest daughter may call in.

No spectacular sunrise this morning sadly as Berry Head is shrouded in mist and we have "mizzle"! It is chilly too of course, but as compensation there are 4 swans feeding on the water.
Now I am going to try and speak to my grandchildren on the other side of the world.
Have a good Saturday ALL.

Good Morning Mick Corner and All.

Hope you enjoy your meal tonight Mick celebrating your DB’s 60th.

Are you doing the advising Corner if so I am very impressed?

Going to be a dull mild day in South Bucks after the beautiful sunshine of yesterday.

Not much planned for today but will fit in watching some tennis in Rotterdam.

Enjoy your weekend folks.

Gagagran Sat 16-Feb-19 07:21:19

Morning dragonfly! Enjoy your run.

Gagagran Sat 16-Feb-19 07:20:29

Good Morning Mick, corner and all!

It is a bit misty here on the south coast and we are forecast a cloudy day. Spring is on its way though - our daffodils are out!

I need a library visit this morning and might buy a Farmers Market cake for DH, who does love a bit of cake. I prefer a bit of chocolate.

Hope the day is a good one for us all.

dragonfly46 Sat 16-Feb-19 07:19:58

Good morning all - a little cloudy here in Leicestershire.
Park run this morning, although I walk most of it I am going to try and improve my personal best.

Taking DH out afterwards.

Morning Mick, morning All. Much the same in our corner of Somerset, still dark, seems dry out there. Sounds a good day ahead, mick, enjoy your family time. Advising on some DiY this morning then admin, or perhaps a trip to town on the bus if we survive the DiY hmm. Hope Saturday is kind to everyone.
