Hello all, good wishes etc.

Well, what it says up there ^, that's all I really wanted to say.

icanhandthemback Sat 16-Feb-19 23:01:29

If anybody's going to Aldi's, could they pick up a crate of Brains Porter Beer...hope you don't mind me bringing the pickled eggs to go with it! grin
If we can't find a Sofa big enough, we could declare a GN State of Emergency and build a wall. wink

Doodle Sat 16-Feb-19 22:44:34

grumpa grin

Charleygirl5 Sat 16-Feb-19 21:53:01

Are you accusing me of being silly phoenix? What else do you expect from a 6 year old? Okay, maybe I should not have had two glasses of dry white this evening but I am definitely too young to try gin.

I am way past my bedtime so I am off.

BlueSapphire Sat 16-Feb-19 21:39:01

And my shoe size is a 4....

MawBroon Sat 16-Feb-19 21:37:33

Mmm that sounds yummy!

BlueSapphire Sat 16-Feb-19 21:35:59

Well, I am continuing to hide behind the sofa and celebrate as my rugby team {Northampton Saints) had a great win today 67-17, and I was there! and want to continue the party with a bottle of what I'm drinking now, Seville Orange Gin!

Lisagran Sat 16-Feb-19 21:25:02

Phoenix - no champagne filled sunken baths? Oh dear.... would the finance committee approve a bulk order for Aldi Cava then instead? grin

megan123 Sat 16-Feb-19 21:14:55

This thread has had me smiling, thank you all smile

grumppa Sat 16-Feb-19 20:50:24

I hope I am not too late to join you all behind tbe sofa and make myself available to anyone who wishes to relish a gentleman.

phoenix Sat 16-Feb-19 20:49:41

This thread has shown the best silliness of GN, even though I don't think that champagne filled sunken baths might be best use of resources in the GN Mansion,
shock

Don't be a meanie!!

I can think of nothing better.

phoenix Sat 16-Feb-19 20:33:57

Hello all, and oodles of thanks to those who have posted in the spirit of the thread! Not one (as far as I can see) unpleasant, nasty, snide remark!

GN is a great place for advice (when asked for) and support, but sadly there will be the occasional poster that seems to feel that they need to castigate others, often out of the blue, on threads that wouldn't seem to warrant it.

This thread has shown the best silliness of GN, even though I don't think that champagne filled sunken baths might be best use of resources in the GN Mansion, but as a "cooperative" we can of course have a vote, although personally I would go for massages, for human and canine residents.

Anyway, enough of this, I salute you all!

Jalima1108 Sat 16-Feb-19 20:32:28

I'll stick with kitty's white wine as I'm only six, gin is a bit potent.

Jalima1108 Sat 16-Feb-19 20:31:13

I'll have a Rhubarb Gin
ooh er, one of those new posh gins!!

Doodle Sat 16-Feb-19 20:10:12

Sorry kitty in my world there is no such thing as a small amount of wine ? I’ll have as much as you can spare please ..hic! Oops. Sorry blush

Buffybee Sat 16-Feb-19 19:13:51

Btw! GrannyGravy that is so cute! Size 2 shoes!
How do you balance on them?
If we're acting out shoe size.
I am the eldest, up to now, as I am 7, so I can read and write and drink Rhubarb Gin??????
Whoops!!!!!

Charleygirl5 Sat 16-Feb-19 19:13:29

Buffybee I did not apply any makeup today so sorry, I have no idea who covered the young lady.

I also have been following your travels so know who you have been dealing with and it was not easy.

Buffybee Sat 16-Feb-19 19:08:53

She was fine Charleygirl, I just wondered who had placed all the ????? kiss marks all over her and then realised that it must have been you. You did say that you would love and kiss her!
By the way, in case anyone thinks I've lost my marbles again.
If you hear me shouting for Buffy, I haven't lost myself.
The dog is Buffy and I am named after her, just to add to the confusion.
I'll have a Rhubarb Gin with ice, I deserve it, I've had to deal with some people with NO sense of humour or sense of anything at all, today.
V hard work!!!!!!!

kittylester Sat 16-Feb-19 17:24:56

Dh was going to go to Aldi to replenish his wine as it has all gone but he didn't make it. On the other hand I have 4 bottles left - it's white - any one like a small amount?

Jalima1108 Sat 16-Feb-19 17:22:56

I can read and tell the time!

Charleygirl5 Sat 16-Feb-19 17:22:20

GG you must be exceptionally bright if you can read and write at your age. I could read, age 6 but I am not sure about writing.

Jalima1108 Sat 16-Feb-19 17:15:09

Oh, is wine allowed GG13 It's only 5.15

and I'm only six

GrannyGravy13 Sat 16-Feb-19 17:00:18

I am a 21/2-3 (shoe size) so I feel a tantrum coming on, followed by a bottle (see my previous post) then a nice little nap.

GrannyGravy13 Sat 16-Feb-19 16:58:44

I am definitely not waiting till wine o'clock (6pm) in our house. I am off to sample the "Aldi special reserve Sauvignon blanc" and the dinner? Well that has just been passed over to Mr,GG13 to do!!!!

lemongrove Sat 16-Feb-19 16:58:37

How about our hips size? grin?
It’s a bit less than my true age anyway.
