I've been trying to find a tricycle so I can pedal myself but they are SO expensive and no one seems to have them 2nd hand.

I did see 2 blind ladies the other day heading off on tandems with sighted riders . Looked loads of fun!

Yes, I have seen this and I think there is a Care Home here that has this as an option. I will try to find out where.
