PECS. Me too! Bad back. Pain. Stuck at home in one place quite often.
Actually we are not truly addicted because an addiction, clinically, needs to be detrimental to your life, well-being, health... that sort of thing. Actually there are the "high functioning addicts" I suppose, who titrate their drug so as to keep themselves able to work, like the Medical Doctors who are addicts... Hmmm. I will have to review my learning on the meaning of "addiction". I'm sure it has to have harmful effects! Like taking over your life in a way that impairs your life not enhances it. So that it stops you eating or earning or sleeping or things like that.
I gave up and looked it up:
"A condition involving use of a substance, such as a drug or alcohol, or engagement in a behavior, such as gambling, in which a person has strong cravings, is unable to stop or limit the activity, continues the activity despite harmful consequences, and experiences distress upon discontinuance:"
Do you get strong cravings?
Do you experience distress on discontinuance?
Are you unable to stop?
Actually á propos of the last one I am frequently almost unable to stop anything I am working on and so come to GN as a way of breaking me free from my writing or researching.
