Iceland still having palm oil products.

I read that the very farmers who are devastating the habitats of the orangutan, are also sexually abusing them, even going as far as to pay £2 for the 'privilege'.

It will take a concerted effort by the whole human race to come up with alternatives to palm oil as it seems to be so widely used.

If the stock was manufactured before they decided not to include palm oil in their own products then I cannot see a problem.
Should they dispose of the products in landfill? There doesn't seem to be any point whatsoever in doing that.

I think they only undertook to make the change to their own brand products.

If we all stop buying products with palm oil in we will be putting a lot of good people out of work. When you read beyond the headlines a lot of it is produced sustainably without deforestation.

We had some threads on here a while ago and this one was interesting. It is possible that as long as the palm oil is sustainable we can still use products containing it. I wouldn't buy the items you have seen unless I could be re-assured on the sustainablilty of the oil used.

For me, It would depend on what food still has the palm oil

I would still buy until their stock is run out.
